文本话题是保护熊猫,八年级学生熟悉此话题,对动物比较感兴趣,更能专注于阅读了解更多关于熊猫的知识;从本学期开始已经着重培养学生的阅读理解的能力,学生已经具备一定的阅读能力,他们也有更好的独立思考与理性思考的能力,可以对保护动物有更为具体的理解和行动。

学习过程
1. Lead-in
Ask students t watch a vide abut pandas, and ask a questin:

Learn the new wrds: keeper
设计意图:通过熊猫和饲养员一起玩耍的视频,让学生感受到熊猫的可爱,顺利导入到本节课的话题,通过问题的提出,导入到重要词汇:keeper, 也为下面的阅读内容作了铺垫。
2. Brainstrming
Talk mre abut the pandas.
Give sme tips: lk, character, where, endangered, research base, prtect
设计意图:通过头脑风暴的形式,唤起学生对熊猫已有的知识再现,也为学习新词汇:endangered, research base 提供契机,同时让学生都张嘴说,活跃了阅读前的课堂氛围。
3. Intrduce sme reading skills
After sme intrductin abut Chengdu Research, we’ll begin reading 2b, befre that, the teacher intrduce tw reading skills:
Skimming: This means lking quickly thrugh a piece f writing t find the main idea withut reading every wrd.
Scanning: This means mving yur eyes quickly dwn the page t find specific infrmatin(具体的,详细信息).
设计意图:在开始阅读前,重述这两种常用的阅读技巧,旨在引导学生运用正确的阅读策略完成阅读任务,这是阅读课必备的学习目标。

设计意图:在每段完成阅读任务后,老师在黑板上都会有一个简单的知识梳理,用图表或简笔画画出了每段的重要内容及情节之间的关系,都是为本环节活动做的铺垫,让学生能够根据老师的思维导图试着去复述本篇文章,深入理解文章。
8. Make a pster tgether
The teacher make a language envirnment. The pandas are called “natinal treasure f China”. S we shuld try ur best t prtect them. S the teacher want t take part in this year’s panda prtectin pster design cmpetitin. Nw the teacher needs the students’ help.
G1: Intrduce the basic facts abut pandas.

G3-G7: Think up mre ways t prtect pandas.
G8: Make sme slgans(口号) t call up ther peple t prtect pandas.
After finishing the task, each grup leader make a reprt, and make the card n the pster, and finish the beautiful pster tgether.
设计意图:通过小组讨论完成老师布置的制作海报的一部分,一方面让学生对本节课所学的内容做个总结:如熊猫的基本情况,濒危的原因,保护措施,口号;另一方面也是本节课的生成部分,让学生除了课本上保护熊猫的措施,想出更多的保护办法;除此之外,通过小组活动,激发了学生的合作意识,也锻炼了学生写作和口头表达的能力。是本节课的一个创新点。
