形容词(adjective)
形容词是用来描写或修饰名词或代词，说明人或事物的特征或性质的。比如：
1. I want a new pet!2. Hw rude yu are!3. … it’s very small and sft …4. I like her lng ears.5. My gldfish is a wnderful pet.6. She desn’t need a gentle tuch.
用法: 作定语：e.g. This is an ld huse. 这是一间老宅子。作表语：e.g. He is very clever. 他很聪明。
2.形容词作表语位于系动词之后。除be动词外，系动词还包括becme、feel、get、lk、seem、smell、sund、taste、turn等，这些词后常接形容词作表语。如：The price sunds reasnable.这个价格听起来算是合理的。

smething属于不定代词

代替或修饰不特指的人或事物的代词叫不定代词。
常见的不定代词有：sme,any,n,every,all,each,bth,much,many,（a）little,（a）few,ther（s）,anther,nne,ne,either,neither等.
指人： smebdy、smene 某人 anybdy、anyne 某人everybdy、everyne 每个人nbdy、n ne 没有人
sme, any, every, n都能和ne, bdy, thing一起构成代词，这些代词叫复合不定代词。
指物：smething 某物 anything 某物 everything 每件事，一切 nthing 没事,什么也没有
smebdy, smething, smene 常用于肯定句中；疑问句中，如果希望得到对方肯定的回答，也会用sme-。如：Hey, Lily. There is smene utside the dr. 嗨，丽丽，门外有人。anything, anybdy, anyne 常用于疑问句或否定句中。如：Did yu meet anyne when yu came t schl last Sunday?上个星期天你来学校时见到什么人了吗?
n ne, nbdy, nthingn-有否定含义，n ne表示“没有人”，nbdy = nt anyne, nthing = nt anything如：He has nthing much t d tday.他今天没有多少事情做。everybdy, everyne, everything everybdy/everyne的意思是“每个人，人人”，everything的意思是“每件事，一切”。如：Everybdy likes swimming. 每个人都喜欢游泳。
形容词修饰复合不定代词时，通常要位于这些词的后面。Is there anything imprtant in tday’s newspaper? 今天的报纸上有什么重要的新闻吗？复合不定代词作主语时，谓语动词通常用单数。Everything is ready. 一切都准备好了。Everybdy likes t jin in this activity.每个人都愿意参加这一活动。
