Why?I usually wear…, I like to wear… because I like …Step 2 PresentationHave students read the unit overview on page sixty eight and answer the following question: \What will you do in this unit?In this unit we will read about how to choose the right colors to wear, get to know about different types of clothes, describe the features of clothes, and learn about the culture behind clothesStep 3 Practice 1.Have students finish part a on page sixty nine. 2.Then have students answer the following questions:What do you think of their clothes? Whose clothes do you like best? Why?I think their clothes look/ are...,I like…best because he or she looks…in How students listen to Sunday and Simon's conversation in part B on page sixty nine and answer the following questions:What colors does Simon like for his clothes? Why?He likes warm colors like red and orange because they make him feel happy. What colors does Sunday like for her clothes? Why? She likes cool colors like blue because they make her feel calmStep 4 PresentationHave students answer the following questions:Can you give some examples of warm colors and cool colors? Red, orange and yellow are warm colors. Blue and green are cool colors. How do you feel about warm colors and cool colors? Warm colors makes me feel happy/gald /great Cool colors make me feel calm/relaxed. Have students learn about what yellow, green and red stand for by reading the box in part B on page sixty nine.Then have students think about what other colors stand for blue.
