    Shadw Puppet Shws
    Peple in many cultures lve theatre. One f the ldest and greatest strytelling 16 in the wrld can be seen in theatres in Indnesia. It is a kind f shadw puppet shw (皮影戏) called Wayang Kulit. Wayang is a kind f leather and kulit 17 puppet.

    Fr each shw, there is nly ne puppeteer. He mves the puppets, tells the stry, and des the 20 fr each puppet. Puppeteers are amazing because there are smetimes between 100 and 500 puppets fr him t mve in ne shw! This is a very special jb and it is nt easy. Gd puppeteers are very 21 in Indnesia, and smetimes mre than 6,000 peple cme t see the shw.
    In a Wayang Kulit shw, the puppeteer sits behind a white screen. A lamp r light is shne nt the screen, s the puppets lk like dark shadws. Each puppet has three sticks attached t it: ne n the bdy and ne n each arm. The puppeteer mves the puppet with these sticks. Usually, gd characters 22 n the right side f the screen, and bad characters n the left side.
