“The weather statin in Furnace Creek, Death Valley, Califrnia, reprted a temperature f 54. 4℃ n 16 August,” said Clare Nullis, Wrld Meterlgical Organizatin (WMO) spkespersn. “If verified (证实), it wuld be the highest temperature n Earth since 1931, and the third- httest temperature ever recrded n the planet. ”

My new friend received his name Little Bit sn because he was nearly weightless when I held him in my hands. He std abut five inches tall.
