Americans are afraid that rbts are ging t take ur jbs. Tireless, immune t disease, rbts build cars, make cffee and even write shrt humrus newspaper clumns faster and mre efficiently than humans.
Rbts d nt need health insurance r salary and they d nt need t take sick days r vacatins. They d nt waste time n meetings and d nt need t knw ffice plitics. They dn’t d Pwer Pint. This being the case, it is reasnable t believe that re emplyees will be dismissed and rbts will sn take the place f humans in mst fields.
But all f these thughts may nt be true. If artificial intelligence achieves its full ptential, machines culd easily becme as smart as humans, maybe smarter. They will certainly becme smarter than a lt f human beings.
S ne day the rbts will realize that wrk is nt a happy thing. S befre lng they will start behaving exactly like humans. They will play cmputer games fr hurs when they shuld be wrking hard. They will secretly watch new mvies just like humans.
True, emplyers will never need t be afraid f the rbts’ strikes r slwdwns, because rbts will er ask fr mre mney. And they dn’t need t earn sme mney t raise their family. But precisely(正是)because rbts will nt be afraid f lsing their jbs, they will nt wrk hard. Emplyers will finally have n chice but t call back the humans. Humans will always be willing t d sme wrk in rder t make mney. Rbts wn’t.
I think that rbts will nly be n the jb abut six mnths befre they start t becme even less prductive than the humans they were designed t replace. Thus mankind needs nt be afraid f rbts. Analysing the prs and cns, I think humans still have advantages.

News anchrs(主持人)must have been reluctant and felt it was like science fictin t read ut the fllwing news: Xin Xiameng began wrking as the wrld’s first female artificial intelligence news anchr at Xinhua News Agency n Sunday, three mnths after a male rbt jined the prfessin.
Unlike previus news rbts thugh, Xin des nt read news like a cld machine; she reads it mre like a human being. The muscles n her face stretch and relax--and her reactins change-as she cntinues reading. That’s why many news anchrs are wrried: Will Al replace us in the near future?
T find the answer, we have t analyse the technlgies that supprt Xin at her jb. Three key technlgies are used t supprt Xin. First, samples f human vices are cllected and synthesized(合成). This is fllwed by the cllectin and synthesis f human muscle mvement samples. Third, the vices and mvements are married(相结合)in a way that when the AI news anchr reads the micr electric mtrs behind her face mve t make her expressins seem mre human.
Yet we need a thrugh knwledge f deep learning technlgy t make a rbt imitate a persn’s vice. The develper needs t cllect tens f thusands f pieces f prnunciatins, input them int the machine and match them with the text fr the AI t learn and read. The prcess f imitating facial mvements is similar, The develper has t analyse the mvements f the 43 muscles in the human face, make a mdel set frm the cllected data fr the AI news anchr t learn, and imitate the mvements f facial muscles via prgrams.
Bth the technlgies used t make Xin’s perfrmance impressive are mature, whereas the real difficulty lies in the third--the technlgy t match the prnunciatins with facial mvements s that Xin’s expressins vary accrding t the cntent f the news reprt. In fact, Xin’s expressins dn't always change accrding t the cntent. As a result, her expressins lk anything but human. Actually, AI is still n match fr human qualities.

B. They lked like a human being.

A. This technlgy is very perfect s far.
B. This technlgy is quite ppular nw.
C. This technlgy remains at the theretical stage.
D. This technlgy is far frm mature.
7. What cnclusin can we draw frm the last paragraph?
A. Human news anchrs shuld learn frm all anchrs t save their jbs.
B. AI news anchrs perfrm much better than human news anchrs at present.

D. Xin Xiameng’s expressins vary s naturally that they are true t life.
