Step I 学习理解
活动一:获取框架(Understand the utline)(Part1,P11)
Ask students t read the example utline f the Zhuang Peple’s Flk Sng Festival. It includes time place,minrity grup,festival activities and lcal festival.
活动二:获取信息(Get infrmatin)
Ask students t surf the Internet and read as many minrity festivals as pssible in China,and chse ne f these t be ready fr their presentatin.
Step I应用实践
活动三:准备报告(Prepare a presentatin)
1.Make a grup.
Ask students t chse 3-4 classmates t make a new grup.
2.Chse a minrity festival Ask the grup t wrk tgether and decide ne minrity festival t reprt.
3.Make the PPT fr the presentatin.
Chse a picture fr the festival and prepare the presentatin in the fllwing aspects: time, place minrity grup, festival activities and lcal festival fd.
Here is an example fr the Dai Water-sprinkling Festival.
Time:frm April 13 t 15
Place:Thailand,Las,Burma and sme minrities in Suth China.
Minrity grup: The Dai peple

【设计意图】通过阅读课本上提供的关于壮族民间音乐节的信息,首先给学生提供一个写作框架;然后在互联网上获取关于自己喜欢的或者熟悉的一个少数民族的节日,阅读并获取相关信息;接着完成报告,并向全班做报告。通过这个活动,可以加深学生对中国传统文化的理解,增强民族自信。

活动四:制作海报(Make a pster abut festival fd recipes)
1.Learn the example.
G thrugh the example n Page 1l with students and make sure they understand its cntents and structure.
2. An example f making Chinese dumplings.
(1) Recipe f making Chinese dumplings
Ingredients:
flur, 400g prk, 300-350g celery, 200-300g
Nte: The amunt f the ingredients listed abve serves tw t three peple.
Seasnings:
green nin and ginger; salt; five spices pwder; cking wine; sy sauce; sesame il
Nte: The amunt f the seasnings listed abve can be apprpriately used accrding t ne’s persnal taste.
(2) Preparatin
① Dispse f the skin f the prk. Clean and chp the prk. Add the five spices pwder, sy sauce and cking wine. Fully mix them and preserve fr 15min.
② Trim the celery and remve the big leaves. Clean the stems f the celery and chp int small pieces.
③Peel the ginger and prepare green nin, then smash them.
(3) Methds
① Making the dugh
Pur 400g flur int a basin. Repeatedly add water and stir t make all flur frm small pieces. Add mre water gather the flur pieces and knead int dugh. Cver it with preservative film t stand fr 20-30min. After, knead it smth enugh and cver it again fr later use.
② Making the filling Cmbine the chpped celery, ginger and green nin with the grund prk. Add salt and sesame il and mix them all.
③Chinese dumpling wrapper recipe
Cut a small sectin frm the dugh. Rub it int a lng stick and cut int small dugh balls. Flatten them all and rll flat t frm rund flur sheets.
④ Making dumplings
Put sme filling in the center f a wrapper. Crimp it and press the edges. Clasp hands and pinch it hard. Make mre in the same way.
⑤ biling dumplings
Bil water and then put the dumplings in. Stir in case f sticking. Cver the wk and add water when it bils again. Add water fr 3-4 times till the dumplings are well cked. The whle biling prcess usually lasts 5-6min.
(4) Cmmn ways f eating Chinese dumplings
①Making Chinese dumpling dipping/seasning sauce
Cmbine sy sauce, vinegar, sesame il and red chili il. The dipping sauce is simple ready.
② Pick ut sme in a bwl r n a plate. Dip seasning sauce and have a taste.
