一、概述
英语最基本的句序“主语＋谓语动词（＋宾语）”。在一些英语就在中，主语，谓语和宾语不是处于正常语序，而是把谓语的全部或一部分提到主语的前面，这种语序叫做倒装。
二、倒装的类型
倒装可分为全部倒装和部分倒装。
（一）全部倒装
全部倒装就是整个谓语动词放在主语之前，即【谓语＋主语】
1．一个句子要全部倒装，符合下列3个条件
①以 here，there，nw，then 或 ut，in，up，dwn，away，ff等词开头
②句中的动词通常是表示状态存在类（be／stand／lie），移动类（g，run，cme，rush等）的动词
③句中的主语必须是名词
Here cmes the bus. 公共汽车来了。
There ges the sldiers. 士兵走了。
Away went the runners. 选手们跑远了。
【注意】：如果主语是人称代词时，主语和谓语的语序不变，即【主语＋谓语】
Here it is. 它在这儿。
Away he went. 他走了。
2．“地点”开头的介词短语位于句首，也需要全部倒装。
In frnt f the huse stands a tree. 房前有一棵树。

（二）部分倒装
部分倒装就是把助动词、情态动词放在主语之前，即【助动词／情态动词＋主语＋动词原形】，或者【be动词＋主语＋其他】
Never will I frget yu. 我永远也不会忘记你。
情态动词 主语 谓语动词
1.具有否定意义的词或词组位于句首，句子用部分倒装。
否定词有：little；few；nr；neither；seldm；never；hardly；rarely（很少）
否定意义的词组：in n way；n lnger；by n means；n mre；n n accunt；in n case（绝不）
Seldm［d I g］t wrk by bus. 我很少坐公共汽车上班。
【注意】①2个句型
（一...就...）
n （一...就...）
使用这两个短语时，主句通常用过去完成时（had dne），从句用过去式时
He had n sner returned than he bught a huse. 他一回来就买了一套房子。
I had hardly finished the article when the light went ut.我刚写完文章，灯就熄了。
如果把hardly和n sner放到句首，主句要用半倒装结构，即:
Hardly had 主语 dne when＋句子（过去式）
N sner had 主语 dne than＋句子（过去式）
N sner had he returned than he bught a huse. 他一回来就买了一套房子。
Hardly had I finished the article when the light went ut. 我刚写完文章，灯就熄了。
【注意】nt until放到句首时，也需要用半倒装。
【Nt until从句助动词（d／des／did）主语＋动词原形】
He didn't finish his hmewrk until the teacher came in.直到老师进来，他才完成作业。
Nt until the teacher came in did he finish his hmewrk.
2．要表达前面的内容（否定）也适合后面的人，则用[Neither/Nr+be/情态动词／助动词＋主语】表示“主语也不...”
I can't swim，neither can he. 我不会游泳，他也不会。
My sisters isn't fat，nr am I. 我姐姐不胖，我也不胖。
【TIPS】根据前面句子含有什么类型的词，去决定选择be，还是情态动词还是助动词。即有be用be，有情用情，有行为动词请助动词。
3．由as／thugh引导的让步状语从句，把as／thugh放到句首，需要用半倒装。
即【形容词／名词／副词／动词原形 as 主语＋动词】
Fail as he did，he didn't lse heart. 尽管他失败了，但是没有失去信心。
Yung as he is，he knws a lt. 尽管他还年轻，但是他知道很多。
【注意】如果名词是单数可数名词，前无形容词修饰，不需要有冠词；若有形容词修饰，则要带冠词。
Child as he is，he knws a lt. 尽管他还是一个小孩，但是知道很多。
A smart child as he is，he is shy. 尽管他是一个很聪明的小孩，但是他很害羞。
4．Only＋状语位于句首时，需要部分倒装，即【nly＋状语 助动词／情态动词＋主语＋动词原形】
Only in this way can we prtect envirnment.仅仅只有这种办法我们才可以保护地球。
5．前面说的内容（肯定）也适用于后面的人，则用【S+be／情态动词／助动词＋主语】
I can speak English，s can my brther. 我能说英语，我弟弟也能。
【注意】：如果一个句子只是重复前面一句话的意思，表示同意对方的看法，意为
“是的，确实”时，句子不用倒装语序，即【S＋主语＋谓语】
---It is raining hard utside. 外面下好大雨啊。
---S it is. 是啊，好大雨啊。
6．s／（如此...以致于...）引导的结果状语从句的倒装句
如果把s／such放到句首，则需要半倒装。
(1)
s放到句首，要把s所修饰的形容词／副词一起放到句首。
①【s adj＋be＋主语】
The lake is s shallw that n fish can live in it. 水太浅了，没有鱼可以在那里生存。
S shallw is the lake that n fish can live in it. 那个湖水太浅了，里边没有鱼。
②【s adv d／des／did＋主语＋动词原形】
He spke s ludly that peple in the next rm culd hear him.（ludly 修饰动词 speak）
他讲话声音很大，隔壁屋里的人都听得见。
S ludly did he speak that peple in the next rm culd hear him.
(2)
such 放到句首，要把such所修饰的名词一起放到句首。
①【such(a/an)adj n]+be+主语+that..
It is such a lvely day that we want t g ut fr a picnic.天气太好了，我想外出野餐。
Such a lvely day is it that we want t g ut fr a picnic.
②【such（a／an）adj n】＋d／des／did＋主语 ＋动词原形＋that..
I fund such a difficult questin that I culdn't wrk it ut.
我发现了一个很难的问题，我都做不出来
Such a difficult questin did I find that I culdn't wrk it ut.
