地球已经有46亿岁了。The earth is 4.6 billin years ld.我们人类生活在地球上只有三万五千年，但是在此期间(perid)，我们在许多方面改变了我们的星球(planet)。We humans have lived n the earth fr nly 35000 years, but during this perid, we have changed ur planet a lt in many ways.我们做的一些事情对地球有益，而其它的却有害。Sme things we have dne are very gd fr the earth while thers are bad.
在全世界，人们已经砍掉了数百万棵树木。All ver the wrld, peple have cut dwn millins f trees.下雨或刮风时，土壤被带走。When it rains r when the wind blws, the earth is taken away.森林变成了沙漠，如此多各类的动植物正在消失(disappear)。Frests have becme deserts, s many kinds f animals and plants are disappearing.
在大城市，小汽车和公共汽车污染了空气。In big cities, cars and buses have plluted the air.现在，城市里的许多人都有健康问题。Nw many peple in cities have health prblems.
工厂也污染了土地和水。Factries have als plluted the land and the water.结果，现在许多河流和湖泊都失去了生机(be dead)。As a result, many rivers and lakes are nw dead.
