    Our schl life is quiet and safe and gun crimes never happen.
    Schl in cities can prvide many clrful extr-curricular activities,but in rural areas, such activities are nt always available.
    Like senir high students in ther cuntries we are facing fierce cmpetitin in the Cllege Entrance Exam.

    Ging frm junir high schl t senir high schl is a really big challenge. The first week was a little cnfusing.
    First, I had t think very carefully abut which curses I wanted t take. The schl adviser helped me chse the suitable nes: maths, English, chemistry, wrld histry, and Chinese. I knw that Chinese is a very difficult language, but I hpe t be fluent when I graduate. My adviser recmmended that I shuld sign up fr advanced literature because I like English and I’m gd at it.
    Obviusly, I was unhappy, but I wn’t quit. I’ll find a way t imprve n my wn s that I can make the team next year. I jined a vlunteer club instead. Every Wednesday, we wrk at a sup kitchen and hand ut fd t hmeless peple in the cmmunity.
    I knw I’ll have t study harder as a senir high schl student and get used t being respnsible fr a lt mre. I’m a bit wrried abut keeping up with the ther students in my advanced curse, and it’ll be quite difficult t get used t all the hmewrk. Still, I’m happy t be here. Studying hard isn’t always fun, but I’ll be well prepared fr university r whatever else cmes in the future.

    注意: 1.介词后不能直接接that引导的宾语从句,如果要接,需要用 it 作介词的 形式宾语,再接that引导的宾语从句; 2.what、which、whm等连接词引导的宾语从句可直接放在介词后面。 3. 介词后可接whether引导的宾语从句,但不接由if引导的宾语从句。
    句中的介词abut后接which引导的宾语从句,which curses在从句中作宾语。
    思考:你还知道哪些表达“建议;推荐,命令,要求”的词?
    一坚持:insist二命令:rder, cmmand
    三建议:advise, suggest, recmmend四要求:require, request, demand, desire
    这些词后跟虚拟语气的从句,即谓语动词用“(shuld) + 动词原形”

    s that 引导结果状语从句时, 主从句之间可用逗号隔开。eg: The rm was packed with peple, s that we culdn’t get in.
    s that 引导结果状语从句,“因此;以致;所以”
