(2)当某一事物与其他事物作比较时,被比较事物中不能包括本身。如: He is taller than student in his class. 他比班上其他学生都高。(3)如果比较对象相同,可用that / thse代替第二个比较对象。如: The fd in Sichuan is htter than in Guangdng. 四川的食物比广东的食物辣。
(4)“the+比较级,the +比较级”表示“越...,越...”。如:The , the . 越多越好The yu are, the mistakes yu’ll make. 你越仔细,错误就越少。(5) 表示两者中“较……”时,用“the + 形容词比较级+ f短语”来表达。 如:Canada is the tw cuntries. 加拿大是这两个国家中较大的那一个。(6)形容词的比较级可用much, a little, a lt, even等修饰,使原本的比较级在语意上更加明确。如:Apples are than ranges. 苹果比橘子大得多。Let’s g t schl . 我们早一点去学校吧。

最高级表示“最……”,表示三者或三者以上(人或物)进行比较,其中有一个在某一方面超过其他几个时用。 1.形容词最高级前一般要加the,但如果其前有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格等修饰语时, 则不再用定冠词the。副词的最高级前面可以加定冠词the, 也可以省略。 e.g. This bk is the mst interesting ne. Her yungest daughter is eleven years ld. Liu Jun ran (the) fastest in the race.
2.形容词的最高级常用“the + 最高级+ 比较范围”结构, 比较范围为短语(介词in或f短语)或从句。 一般情况下, 如果主语与介词短语中的名词属于同一类, 用介词f; 如果不是同一类, 则用介词in。 e.g. Tina is the mst utging in her family. Jim jumps (the) highest f all the bys. The dg is the best present that I have ever received.这只狗是我收到过的最好的礼物。
