【探究】（1）ther可作形容词或代词，作形容词时意为“别的；其他的”。
（2）the ther意为“另一个”，常用于指代两个人或物中的另一个。常用结构为ne…the ther…，意为“一个……，另一个……”。
（3）thers泛指其余的人或物，但并非全部，用作代词，相当于“ther+可数名词复数”,在句中作主语或宾语。常用结构为sme…thers…，意为“一些……，另一些……”。
