After the team is cnfident that the dgs understd the apprach, they turned t cllect breath and sweat samples cllected frm 36 peple asked t cunt backwards frm 9,000 in units f 17, and the participants reprted feeling stressed.
Later, the dgs were taught t pick ut samples taken just after the task. The researchers then tested whether the dgs culd d the same with samples taken frm the same participant just befre the task, when they were mre relaxed. Each set f samples was shwn t a single dg in 20 trials.
The results reveal that the dgs chse the “stressed” sample in 675 ut f the 720 trials. It was pretty amazing t see hw smthly the dgs act in telling peple these tw samples definitely different.

A water tank with tw types f straws is anther equipment in the lab. “One type is made frm nrmal plastics widely used in ur daily life while the ther is frm PHA, a new replacement fr plastics, and the water is surced frm the Suzhu River,” explained Ni Li, an emplyee f the lab. Visitrs can see hw the PHA straws degrade (降解) int a thin layer in just ne mnth, while the thers remain unchanged.
