    The classrm prgramme is being launched by Schlastic Bk Clubs with a dnatin f $1.5 millin frm the writer James Pattersn.
    Schlastic annunced the prgramme recently, aiming t bring bks t 32,000 pr children wh are in kindergarten t eighth grade.
    Judy Newman, president f Schlastic Bk Clubs, said that in many cmmunities peple dn’t have enugh mney t buy bks. S her cmpany “needed t cme up with an alternative t ur tried-and-true mdel, because every child needs t be able t chse and wn bks, and see themselves as a reader!”
