▶教学过程Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
1. Greetings.
T: Hell, bys and girls. I'm yur English teacher. Nice t see yu! My Chinese name is… My English name is… Yu can call me Miss/Mr… I cme frm… I am very happy t cme here t study with yu. I'm interested in sprts, music and climbing muntains. I als enjy dancing. I wuld lve t play with yu. I hpe I can becme yur friend sn. Thank yu very much.

Help students get the meanings f the sentences “Stand up!” “Sit dwn!” by bdy language.

1. Meet sme new friends.
T: Tday, we'll meet sme new friends. Wh are they? Let's have a lk!
Shw the main scene f Unit 1 n the PPT. (课件出示:教材Unit 1的主情景图) Let students lk at the picture carefully and describe what they see in Chinese. Take ut sme headdresses.
(1) Pick up the headdress f Wu Yifan and say, “Lk at this by. He is a Chinese by. He is Wu Yifan.”
Write dwn “Wu Yifan” n the blackbard.
Wear the headdress f Wu Yifan and say, “Hell, everyne! I'm Wu Yifan.”
Write dwn “I'm…” n the blackbard and teach it.
Lead students t say hell t “Wu Yifan”. Then let different students wear the headdress f Wu Yifan and greet the class with “Hell, I'm Wu Yifan.”
(2) Take ut the headdress f Sarah and say, “Lk, here's a girl. She is Sarah.”
Write dwn “Sarah” n the blackbard.
Wear the headdress f Sarah and say, “Hi, everyne! I'm Sarah.” Lead students t say hi t “Sarah”. Then let different students wear the headdress f Sarah and greet the class with “Hi, I'm Sarah.”
(3) Pint t the picture f Miss White and say, “Wh is she? Can yu guess?”

T: Gd! This is Miss White.
Write dwn “Miss White” n the blackbard and teach the prnunciatin.
Wear the headdress f Miss White and say, “Hi, everyne! I'm Miss White.” Lead students t say hi t “Miss White”. Then let different students wear the headdress f Miss White and greet the class with “Hi, I'm Miss White.”

(2) Let students read the dialgue by themselves.
(3) Let students practice the dialgue in grups, and then wear the headdresses t act ut the dialgue in class.

(1) Take ut the headdresses f sme ther characters in this bk. Intrduce these characters: Zm, Chen Jie, Mike, Mr Jnes, Jhn, Zip.
Remind students t pay attentin t the writing frm f Chinese and English names.
