Step 1: Warm up
T:Lk at the pictures, let’s review the Chinese festivals. What are they?
T: Let’s describe them ne by ne.
Step 2: Grammar time
T: Well dne! They are Chinese traditinal festivals. Let’s learn sme ther Chinese festivals: Lantern Festival, Qingming Festival and Duble Seventh Festival.
T：Read the sentences and find these are mnths.
Nw d sme riddles.
Frm the riddles, learn sme ther mnths: March, April, July, August and December.
T: Nw play a game: say frm January t December.
Then play anther game accrding t the pictures, speak ut the festival is in which mnth.
T: Lk at the mnths, find the rules f abbreviatin.
We can use the first three letters and a dt t express mnth. May and September are different frm ther mnths.
T: Read the sentences and find the rules.
