Spacesuits als prvide astrnauts with O2 t breathe while they are in the space. They cntain water t drink during spacewalks. They prtect astrnauts frm being hit by a small bject in space. It may nt sund very dangerus, but when even the small bject is mving many times faster than a bullet, it can cause injury. Spacesuits als prtect astrnauts frm radiatin(辐射) in space. The suits even have parts t prtect astrnauts’ eyes frm the bright sunlight.
The spacesuit includes several pieces. The bdy equipment cvers the astrnaut’s bdy. The arm equipment cvers the arms and cnnects t the glves. The helmet (头盔) and anther equipment are designed t prtect the astrnaut’s head while still allwing him r her t see as much as pssible. The Lwer equipment cvers the astrnaut’s legs and feet. These parts have different functins(功能), frm keeping O2 within the spacesuit t prtecting frm being hit.
Under the spacesuit, astrnauts wear a set f cling equipment. Tubes (管子) are put int this tight-fitting piece f clthing that cvers the whle bdy except fr the head, hands and feet.
Water mves thrugh these tubes t keep the astrnaut cl during the spacewalk. On the back f the spacesuit is a backpack. This backpack prvides the O2 that astrnauts breathe during a spacewalk. It als takes CO2 away. The backpack als prvides electricity fr the suit. A fan mves the O2 thrugh the spacesuit and life supprt systems, and a water tank hlds the cling water that mves thrugh the cling device.

Indeed, these are all hard prblems. But histrically, slving the big prblems has required cntinuus, large-scale investment(投资), ften with private markets and taxpayers sharing the cst. In this century, we need t und sme bad results f the last great bm (繁荣)by develping affrdable zer-and negative-emissins technlgies right nw. That's anther hard prblem-and t slve it, we'll need t rethink what made the "special century" s special.

B. Hme rbtics cmpanies failed because f little investment.
C. It's time t realize the disadvantages f fast develpment nw.
D. It desn't take us lng befre we realize the dangers f smartphnes.
33. The writer prbably agrees _______________.
A. markets and taxpayers have a duty t develp technlgies
