    初中阶段,我们学习了形容词作定语、表语时的用法,副词修饰形容词或作状语的用法。
    同时掌握了它们的比较级和最高级的构成,知道了如何在具体语境中应用。
    回顾一:形容词作定语
    形容词作定语一般需放在它所修饰的名词之前并尽量靠近被修饰的词。在这种位置上的定语叫前置定语。有些形容词作定语要放在被修饰词之后,在这种位置上的定语叫后置定语。

    高中知识衔接
    初中阶段所学的形容词、副词的用法,都属于概念层次的用法。而在高中将学习形容词的区别、多个形容词作定语时的位置以及比较级和最高级的特殊用法。
    知识一:多个形容词的排序
    若有多个形容词修饰名词,它们的位置要由它们与被修饰词的密切程度来决定。关系最密切的形容词靠近被修饰词,而关系较远的离被修饰词则相对较远。其排列顺序通常是:限定词+描绘性形容词+颜色+国籍、地区+用途、类别+名词。如:
    the happy and healthy children幸福而健康的孩子们说明:可以这样记忆:限定描绘大长高,形状年龄和新老,颜色国籍跟材料,作用类别往后靠。
    规则:限定语(the、a an)+描绘性形容词+size(大小)+shape(形状)+age(年龄、时间)+clr(颜色)+rigin(出处、来源)+material(材料)+purpse(目的)+名词。

    知识二:形容词作状语
    形容词作状语,表示意义上的增补,和句子主语有逻辑上的主谓关系。如:

    知识三:比较级的否定用法

    知识四:比较级的修饰
    形容词和副词的比较级常可用下列一些词来修饰,表示比较的程度,如much,far,even,still,a little,n,any,a lt,a great deal以及序数词等。如:

    知识五:比较级表达最高级的含义
    (1)常用的结构为:
    比较级+than+①any ther+单数名词/②all the ther+复数名词/③anyne else/④any f the ther+复数名词
    (以上比较双方属于同一类别或同一范围内,即表示“同一范围内的一者比其他的更…”。)
    比较级+than+⑤any+单数名词(比较双方不属于同一类别或同一范围内,即表示“不同范围内的一者比其他任何一者都更……”)
    经典例题

    高考试题中,经常不直接考最高级,而采用此类表达形式。学生应牢记这几种情况,仔细分析than后的句子成分,弄清楚是不是在同一个范围内,然后选出合适的答案。
    知识六:没有比较级和最高级的形容词和副词
    英语中、有些形容词和副词并没有相应的比较级和最高级,常见的有:
    1.表示“终极”意义或绝对概念的形容词或副词。
    如:abslute(ly),blind,dead,excellent,entire,living,fall,perfect(ly),rund,relative,wrng等。
    2.表示时间、方位或方向的形容词或副词。
    如:back,backward,frward,frnt,past,mnthly,weekly,present,suthern等。
    3.部分表示事物性质、物质材料或结构成分的形容词。
    如:atmic,cultural,ecnmic,educatinal,glden,plitical,scientific,silken,urban,wden等。

    形容词和副词常考的考点为:1.形容词和副词的转换;2.有些形容词转换为副词时需要保留结尾的e+ly:3.ne f后用形容词最高级;4.形容词可以作状语;5.形容词短语的搭配。
