回顾一：形容词作定语
形容词作定语一般需放在它所修饰的名词之前并尽量靠近被修饰的词。在这种位置上的定语叫前置定语。有些形容词作定语要放在被修饰词之后，在这种位置上的定语叫后置定语。

高中知识衔接
初中阶段所学的形容词、副词的用法，都属于概念层次的用法。而在高中将学习形容词的区别、多个形容词作定语时的位置以及比较级和最高级的特殊用法。
知识一：多个形容词的排序
若有多个形容词修饰名词，它们的位置要由它们与被修饰词的密切程度来决定。关系最密切的形容词靠近被修饰词，而关系较远的离被修饰词则相对较远。其排列顺序通常是：限定词+描绘性形容词+颜色+国籍、地区+用途、类别+名词。如：
the happy and healthy children幸福而健康的孩子们说明：可以这样记忆：限定描绘大长高，形状年龄和新老，颜色国籍跟材料，作用类别往后靠。
规则：限定语(the、a an)+描绘性形容词+size(大小)+shape(形状)+age(年龄、时间)+clr(颜色)+rigin(出处、来源)+material(材料)+purpse(目的)+名词。

(1)常用的结构为：
比较级+than+①any ther+单数名词/②all the ther+复数名词/③anyne else/④any f the ther+复数名词
(以上比较双方属于同一类别或同一范围内，即表示“同一范围内的一者比其他的更…”。)
比较级+than+⑤any+单数名词（比较双方不属于同一类别或同一范围内，即表示“不同范围内的一者比其他任何一者都更……”)

知识六：没有比较级和最高级的形容词和副词
英语中、有些形容词和副词并没有相应的比较级和最高级，常见的有：
1.表示“终极”意义或绝对概念的形容词或副词。
如：abslute(ly),blind,dead,excellent,entire,living,fall,perfect(ly),rund,relative,wrng等。
2.表示时间、方位或方向的形容词或副词。
如：back,backward,frward,frnt,past,mnthly,weekly,present,suthern等。
3.部分表示事物性质、物质材料或结构成分的形容词。
如：atmic,cultural,ecnmic,educatinal,glden,plitical,scientific,silken,urban,wden等。
