学情分析
一、综述:本单元是广东省教育厅编写的《开心学英语》五年级教学内容.本人将此单元设计为三个课时,以下是各个课时的教学设计,同时将选取第三课时进行课堂现场上课,课型是语音教学。
二、学生分析:
本课的教学对象是五年级学生,年龄为11岁左右。他们的特点是好奇、好动、善模仿、好表演,有较强的与他人合作、交流的意愿,对英语的学习兴趣浓,但不能持久,因此,需要具体、直观、形象的教学材料及灵活多样的教学方法来引导学习。
在学习本单元前,学生已具备听、说、读、写等语言知识和技能;已经学过一些描述事物的形容词;能够听懂一些简单的对话,并作答;能够根据情景组织简单的对话交际和表演。
通过四年半的英语学习,学生养成了良好的学习习惯,具有一定的学习策略与能力。在课堂活动中,学生能积极与他人合作,在小组内共同完成学习任务;有表达和表现的欲望,能积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流;形成了把知识运用到生活实际中的意识。
另外,学生在中低年级阶段已经学会了汉语拼音中声母的读音,所以在教学设计上,巧妙的把汉语拼音的声母读音与英语辅音字母的读音联系起来,以学生熟悉的知识直接迁移到新的知识里去。但是,作为一节纯语音教学课,学生没有phnics语音拼读的基础,以往背读单词都是以死记硬背的方式进行,而且对于辅音字母组合的发音,特别是th,更是不知道其中发音方法。对phnics语音拼读方法的学习,可以让学生改变枯燥的单词机械记忆方法,为更高年级阶段的学习,提高单词记忆的效率奠定重要的基础。
三、教材整体分析:
本单元以过去和现在的时间对比描述事物的状态为话题,让学生发现不同时态下be动词的变化和事物状态的比较。语言材料为学生日常生活的场景,真实具体,让他们乐学易学。本人根据学生的实际情况把本单元划分为3个课时,即Vcabulary, Target, Sng三个部分为第一课时,Cnversatin, Practice, Activity 三个部分为第二课时,Sunds and wrds, Chant 两个部分为第三课时。
四、单元整体目标分析:
通过本单元的学习,学生能够认识一般过去式的用法,能够区分一般现在时与过去时。学生能够运用本单元的新词汇描述和对比事物过去与现在的状态,并运用到实际生活情景中。除外,学生通过语音的学习,能够正确的发[au]音,并认识其字母组合“u”和“w”的发音,懂得利用语音拼读方法来拼读单词,记忆单词。
五、教学内容:
本课时内容为该单元的sunds and letters部分内容,重点是学习字母组合u和w的发音[au],并运用到单词中去。本部分主要有六个单词组成,分别是:muse, cw, suth, muth, huse和lud,以u组合为主要的形式,把w 组合作为[au]发音的拓展。然后学生根据所学的[au]音进行下一部分的歌谣chant的练习。本人在教学设计时,巧妙的把枯燥的chant配上音乐变成sng,而且为了更好的操练[au]的发音,让学生更容易朗朗上口,在原句基础上改变成:Lud sund, lud sund. Wh shake the grund? Lud sund, lud sund. It’s a cw.

Purpse: 通过唱歌,调动学生情绪,并复习所学过表示科目的单词,为下面的猜科目活动作铺垫。

Step 2. Presentatin:
I. Chinese class: The teacher plays the recrded sund: b, p, m, f… (声母)and has the students guess what subject it is.
⑴ The teacher says the sunds f sme cnsnants and invites students t get the right letter cards.(The students wh get the letter cards line up in frnt f the class.)
⑵ The teacher says the sunds f the letter grups and the students wh hld the right letter cards walk ne step, like /gl/, /br/, /th/ (The teacher explains a little abut the prnunciatin rule f /th/.)
Purpse: 通过播放声母的读音让学生猜出这是语文课,让他们回忆声母的读音,由于拼音中声母的读音与英语的辅音字母的发音有相似之处,在此基础上迁移到辅音字母的发音。(新旧知识的转化)

Purpse: 通过音乐让学生猜出这是音乐课,让他们跟唱英语歌曲以练习[au]的发音,从而引出发[au]音的字母组合u和w.

Purpse: The students have learned sme cnsnants in the Chinese class and the vwel [au] in the music class, s they can distinguish the sunds and chse the right wrds they listen even thugh they actually dn’t knw hw t read the new wrds.(听音能辨)
⑵ Read wrds with the help f phnics teaching methd.
The teacher teaches the students t read wrds in this way: u [au], ud [aud], lud [laud].(wrds with the grup letters “u” “w”)

Memry game: (an activity t check the prnunciatin f wrds)
Purpse: The students can cmbine the cnsnants and the vwel int wrds and learn t read the wrds while they see them with the help f phnics teaching methd.(见词能读)
⑶ Write wrds with the help f phnics teaching methd.
Listen and chse the letters t cmplete the wrds.
Watch the flash, listen and cmplete the sentences.
Purpse: First the students can chse the letters t cmplete the wrds they listen, and then they can write the letters t cmplete the sentences they listen accrding t the pictures and the cntext. (听词能写)
(由于元音的字母组合多变,学生在初学语音阶段能否正确使用[au]的字母组合并不重要,有时在听到新单词时连老师也不一定能决定使用u还是w。所以重要的是他们能够分辨[au]的读音,写出其中的字母组合,若发现写错字母组合,那更让学生在错误中记住其正确的字母组合。)

Purpse: As fr a pure phnics class, it mainly fcuses n the frm f wrds, but accrding t the bjectives f the textbk, the students shuld knw abut the meaning f the six wrds. S in the part abve, the students have t cmplete wrds accrding t the pictures besides listening in rder t link the frm f the wrds with meaning. And fr this part, the game“枯树开花” is designed t check whether they have remembered the meaning f the wrds.
