As a freshman, the start f high schl was a bit strange. Frm harder classes t strange hallways, we surely are the new kids f the schl. We have just survived ur first full week f Hawthrne High Schl (HHS) and here are sme f ur thughts n ur experiences:
Upn entering ur new hme away frm hme, we were happily greeted by the senirs, wh cheered as we walked thrugh the schl gate. We were given new infrmatin abut the next fur years f ur lives. At the end f the week we experienced ur first pep rally (动员会), where we received a warm welcme frm the upper classmen. Many things are different here than they were at middle schl, and it has taken sme getting used t.
Fr example, we have rtating drp schedules (轮换的课表) with different classes, in a different rder each day. There are als tw lunchrms fr all the students t eat in, and depending n ur schedule fr that day, we either have an early r late lunch. In these lunchrms, we are allwed t use ur phnes.
Mst f the lckers in the freshman hallway dn’t have a shelf in them, but they are mre spacius than the nes at middle schl. Anther difference is that yu can share a class with smene in a different grade. Teachers here als like yu t use a binder (活页夹), nt a ntebk. Besides, we have the chance t jin a lt f different clubs including Jurnalism and Bradcasting.
As yu can see, HHS has ffered us many wnderful chances and we are trusted t d mre things. Being a freshman at HHS is an amazing experience.
