If 引导的条件状语从句
( 1 ). If 是从属连词,总为“如果,用来引导条件状语从句。if引导的条件状语从句既可放在主句之前,也可放在主句之后。从句位于主句之前时,常用逗号将其与主句隔开。 If she invites me, I will take part in her birthday party. =I will take part in her birthday party if she invites me.)
(2). if从句还表示不可实现的条件或根本不可能存在的条件,也就是一种虚拟的条件或假设。 从句多用一般过去时或过去完成时,表示对现在或过去的一种假设。 If I were yu, I wuld invite him t the party.如果我是你,我会邀请他参加聚会。 I wuld have arrived much earlier if I had nt been caught in the traffic. 要不是交通堵塞,我本会来得早一些。
(3). 时态搭配1). If从句用一般现在时,主句用一般将来时。If he runs he’ll get there in time. 如果他跑步去,他就会及时赶到那儿。The cat will scratch yu if yu pull its tail. 如果你拉猫的尾巴,它就会抓你。2). if从句用一般现在时,主句may/might/can。 If it stps snwing, we can g ut. 如果雪停了,我们就可以出去。

6). if从句用现在完成时,主句用—般将来时。 If yu have finished dinner, I’ll ask the waiter fr the bill. 如果你已经吃完了,我就叫服务生来结账。
(4).可用下述方法将if条件状语从句转换为其他形式: 1). 借助“祈使句+and/r +陈述句”来转换。其中and表示句意顺承,r表示转折。 If yu dn’t hurry up, yu’ll be late. ( = Hurry up, r yu’ll be late.) 如果你不快点,你就会迟到。
2). 借助介词with或withut来转换。 If yu help me, I’ll finish my jb sn. ( = With yur help, I’ll finish my jb sn.) 如果你帮助我,我会很快做完我的工作。 If there is n water, the fish will die. ( = The fish will die withut water.) 如果没有水,鱼就会死。3). 借助动词不定式短语来转换。 It will be a pity if we leave him alne at hme. 很遗憾我们得留他一人在家。
