Grammar Focus(第2课时)主备教师 年级八年级学科英语课时1课型新授课   复习课   练习课   讲评课   实验课   其他______________一、课程标准新课标要求八年级学生能根据读音规则和音标拼读单词;能辨识和分析常见句式的结构特征;能选用不同句式,描述和介绍身边的人、事物和事件,表达情感、态度、观点和意图等;能在学习活动中积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务;能在学习过程中积极思考,主动探究,发现并尝试使用多种策略解决语言学习中的问题,积极进行拓展性运用。二、学内容分析本单元话题为“课余活动”。Grammar Focus在Section A所输入的语言基础上,利用表格形式梳理语法要点;活动3a-3c引导学生进一步体会、运用并巩固目标语言。通过多个口头、笔头的训练,帮助学生综合运用所学语言解决实际问题。三、学情分析在上一课时中,学生已初步感知并尝试运用了部分频率副词和单位时间内频率词数的表达,并且已熟悉一些课余活动的词汇以及what和how often问答句。在本节课中,频率副词和短语在句子的位置的确定仍存在一定问题。同时,一般现在时态中的谓语动词的三单形式也不能完全写对过关,需多次反复强调。素养目标语言能力:能够在多种语境中,通过观察归纳、小组讨论等方式,进一步巩固掌握常见频度副词和短语,what引导的询问课余活动的问句和how often询问活动频率的问句和答句,关注语言结构; 文化意识:了解国外中学生常见业余活动,提升丰富课余生活的意识;能够借鉴他人优秀学习经验,加强自身英语学习;思维品质:通过观察、归纳有关课余活动和活动频率的问答句语言结构,提升思维的逻辑性和深刻性;通过结伴问答、调查等活动的参与,提升思维的批判性和创新性;学习能力:通过讨论课余活动、英语学习方法等,激发学习积极性;通过自主探究、小组合作等方式,提高观察力和合作力。、学习重、难点学习重点:常见频度副词及短语在句中的用法;关于课余活动的问答句、关于活动频率的问答句;学习难点:一般现在时中谓语动词的第三人称单数形式;频率副词的句中位置。六、教、学方法与策略选择教法:1. Then have a free talk with T to talk about how often they do these activities.Sa: I always brush my teeth.Sb: I usually use chopsticks.Sc: I never drive a car. 利用一首How often...?歌谣直入本课话题,激发学生学习兴趣,引导学生观察和感知,将目标语言朗朗上口,增强其语感,并使其明白学唱英文歌也是学习英语的途径之一。T: When do we use do and when do we use does?        在一般现在时疑问句中,当主语为第三人称单数时,则助动词用does;当主语为第二人称或第三人称复数时,则助动词用do  Ask Ss to finish activity 3a. Check the answers by reading the sentences and conversations aloud . Auxiliary verbs.Read the sentences in the left box. Pay attention to the auxiliary verbs which are circled. Observe the sentences carefully and communicate with their partners.   Complete the questions with do or does. Then match the questions and answers. 引导学生大声朗读和认真观察语法聚焦例句,自主探究并互动交流助动词do和does在一般疑问句中使用的不同情况,培养其学习能力。 Ask Ss to observe the sentences again and try to sum up the usages of adverbs of frequency. Make some explanation if necessary. Adverbs of frequency. Read the sentences in the  box again. Try to find out adverbs of frequency. Observe the sentences carefully and communicate the usages of the adverbs with their partners.  Have a conclusion with the help of the T. 语法的呈现,先让学生自己观察、感知、发现、小结,老师再进行补充、提炼、强化,给学生思考的时间,而不是单纯的知识灌输。  边尝试边讲解,附带句子的对比及翻译,有助于学生理解消化这一要点。  Present an example to help Ss understand the instruction.  After finishing, invite some pairs to show their conversations and another pairs to report each conversation. Work on 3b. Use the words given to write questions. Then ask and answer them with partners.Sa: How often do you help with housework?Sb: I help with housework twice a week.Sc: How often does Wang Yining help with housework?Sd: He helps with housework twice a week. 此活动引导学生关注特殊疑问句的结构,学生需要根据情况补充主语和助动词,还要注意句子的语序。在对话展示时,要求另一组学生转述前组对话内容,关注学生对于do和does,以及动词的第三人称单数使用时的易错点。 T: What can you do to improve your English?  Guide Ss to add more ways of improving English in the chart. Then ask them to make a survey about the frequency of doing these things. Remind them to use the sentence structure of How often...?  Encourage Ss to find the best English student according to their survey results.  Work on 3c.   Ss discuss the ways to improve their English in groups, such as watch English programs on TV, listen to English news, etc.  Ask their groups members the questions and find the best English learner.Sa: How often do you read English books?Sb: I read English books about twice a week. 3c是一个开放性较强的口语交际活动,要求学生灵活运用所学how often询问活动频率的问句和答句自编对话,设计贴近学生日常生活的活动任务,更有效地加强学生知识的学习与运用,在全班展开针对英语学习方法的讨论,激活学生的词汇储备,并促进其学习能力的提升。 Lead the students to summarize. Have a summary about the adverbs of frequency with the help of T.引导学生小结本节课所学有关常见频度副词和短语和how often询问活动频率的语法知识,加深印象,巩固目标语言。HomeworkLevel AChoose one of the best math students in your class and interview him/ her about his/ her good learning habits.
