Unit 6 I'm watching TV.

Section A (1a-1c)

一、教学目标：

1、 语言知识目标：

  1) 能掌握以下短语：read a newspaper, use the computer, make soup, wash the dishes.

  2) 能掌握以下句型：

① —What are you doing?         —I'm watching TV.

② —What's he/she doing?        —He / she is using the computer.

③ —What are they doing?        —They're listening to a CD.

  3) 能运用所学知识，描述人们正在做的事情。

2、教学重点：

  1) 两个词汇、四个词组的搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式准确描述和表达正在发生的动作。

  2) 能回顾现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner… 等。

3、教学难点：

现在进行时中现在分词的构成及读音，能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

4、情感态度目标：

  通过对本单元的学习活动，能培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣，引导他们留意生活中正在发生的事情，热爱生活；

  呼吁学生参加积极有益地体育锻炼，培养学生团结合作的精神。

二、教学过程：

活动1【视频导入】情景设置，引入新知。

P2  T: What’s she doing?   Ss: She is reading a book.

T: What are they doing?   Ss: They are reading a ...

T: Are they reading a book?   T: No, they are not. They are reading a newspaper.

活动2【短语新授】书写并应用短语。- 生答V-ing，导出be+ing。

P3  T: Take out your learning guide, please write these phrases follow me.

T: newspaper/, newspaper\, 讲读音标，板书newspaper. 注意留白以书写read(ing) a newspaper ;

T: Please, read it one by one! This one, use/,use\, 板书use the computer.注意留白以书写 us(ing) the computer;  Use, for example, use the paper, use the pen...

T: Read it this line! Here, soup. It’s delicious, right? Make soup/, make soup\,板书mak(ing) soup; make, make noise, make a card. She is good at making soup, right?

T: Boys, read it together. ( /  \ ) ; Girls, read it together. ( /  \ )

T: Who is he? Ss: He is doing/washing the dishes. Wash the dishes/, wash the dishes\, 板书 wash the dishes. Don’t leave the dirty dishes after eating!

T: Read it from left to right.

P4   T: ing is coming now!

P5-6  T: Don’t hands up, please stand up as quickly as you can.

T: cleaning cleaning ... （Who can teach us?）

活动3【旧知新练】

1. 用曾经学习过的短语，渗入V-ing 的三种变法；
2. 系统教学、操练如何使用现在进行时进行询问及回答正在进行的动作。

T: Who is he?       Ss: He’s Liu Xinyu.       T: What’s he doing?        Ss: He is playing the guitar.

T: Who is he?        Ss: The brother Han.         T: What’s he doing?       Ss: He is cooking.     T: Do you want to eat it?        Ss: Yes, I do.          

板书：What is he/(she) doing?      He/(She) is v-ing ....

P9  (1)T: Who wants to ask?  T: You ask, we answer together. 

(2)T: Maybe she is a sport star.   T: You ask, please. Together.

(3)T: He is my son, what’s he doing?     Ss: He’s shopping.  

P10  T: Girls ask, boys answer. Girls, go...       Girls: What are they doing?   Boys: They are dancing.

      T: Boys ask, girls answer. Boys, go...        Boys: What are they doing?    Girls: They are riding.

板书：What are they doing?         They are v-ing...

活动4【匹配练习】

1. 借教材1a部分的知识，新学新用再次操练核心句型，达到活学活用；
2. 以小组合作的方式，互相操练九组对话，自信展示；

P11  T: Practice makes perfect. Please turn to page 31. Look at 1a. Match the activities with the pictures.

     T: Finish?  I ask you, you answer, clear?  Okay, you ask, you answer.  Great, please one by one. Excellent！

P12  T: Let’s do a pair-work. Two people in one group. Get ready for the whole pictures. Then show us!

活动5【听力练习】

1. 听并完成教材1b习题；
2. 听并完成导学案的填空练习；
3. 全班型的对话练习，即男女生交替读出听力材料，以核对答案；

P14  T: Look at 1b. Listen and write numbers from 1a. 

     T: Who are they?      Ss: They are ...

     T: What’s Jenny doing?       Ss: She is watching TV.

     T: What’s John doing?      Ss: He is washing the dishes.

     T: What are Dave and Mary doing?      Ss: They are listening to a CD.

P15  T: Take out your learning guiding ag.ain. Please look at the listening material. Listen again and complete the blanks.

T: Boys are Bob, girls are Jenny. Boys: Hello, Jenny...

活动6【角色互演】

设计意图：鼓励学生发挥想象，新旧知结合，以组为单位利用实物操练表演，生动形象。既鼓励了学生自信学习、积极表演，也达到深化新知的目的。

活动7【炸弹游戏】

设计意图：以游戏的方式，将本节课所学知识融入其中，达到乐学活用的目的。

活动8【关注家庭】

以表格的形式引导学生悉心身边事情，学会整理记录；组织语言进行汇报。
