【教学目标】
1.知识与技能目标:能够听、说、认读单词 menu pork ribs meatballs vegetable;初步学习dish, eat, salty, sweet, sour;能听懂、会说就餐用语;并能在实际生活中应用。
2.过程与方法目标:通过学生所熟悉的饭店图片来引入本课生词、句型,为学生创设语言环境,以小组合作方式操练就餐句型,从中感悟中西饮食文化差别。
3.情感态度与价值观目标: 通过学习,让学生学会如何礼貌的招待客人,初步了解中西方饮食文化的差别。
【教学重点】
运用所学句型进行简单的点餐和课文的学习。
【教学难点】
运用所学的三种点餐用语进行交际。
【教学准备】
菜单,word cards , recorder, 话梅, salt, sugar and PPT
【教学过程】
Step 1: Warming-up
活动1:观看卡通,一起唱儿歌(男、女生对唱)
活动目标:提取需要的旧知识,为学习新知识打基础。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1.师生共同演唱歌曲“Do you like food?”

设计意图:使学生快速进入学习氛围,同时为下一步教学做铺垫。
活动2:看谁反应快
继续用这个动画,教师指,学生迅速说出食物称。
设计意图:为学习新内容,进行创编对话做铺垫。
Step 2:Presentation and practice:
活动1:引入课文主题图:
活动目标:创设情境,激发学习欲望。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1.教师捂着肚子,做出饿的样子
T: Oh, I’m hungry now. Are you hungry? Let’s go to a restaurant.
PPT:Shows a restaurant(课文主题图):
2.What’s in the restaurant? Let’s go into and see.

设计意图:引入本课主要学习内容,与就餐有关。
活动2:Learn the words and the sentences.
活动目标:学习课文中的生词、难句,为学习、理解课文扫清障碍。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1.Shows a menu and learn the word:
What’s this? Menu
What’s on the menu?
2.A dish→dishes two dishes, three dishes.
There are all kinds of Chinese dishes.
板书:There are all kinds of Chinese dishes. (中文)
Learn "all kinds of" Read one by one. Read the whole sentence.
3.Learn the names of the Chinese dishes:
T: what’s on the menu?
Learn the words:
Sweet:
What is sweet? 出示糖果,it’s sweet. Read the words.
Sour: 品尝酸酸的话梅 Read the words.
Salty: look, what’s this? 盐. Salt is salty. Read the words.
4.Summarize the dishes: there are all kinds of Chinese dishes. They are.....
设计意图:利用学生喜欢的酸、甜糖果、盐食物来学习不同味道的单词,增加学习英语的趣味性;利用语音学习单词,降低学习单词的难度,易于学生掌握。
活动3:Learning the dialogue.
活动目标:通过听录音前的预测、推测,帮助学生能更好的理解对话
实施方法与师生语言::出示主题图进行讨论

Mike and his parents are hungry, too. They come to a Chinese Restaurant. What would they like to eat? Let’s listen.
活动4:听录音理解内容
活动目标:借助录音和题目信息帮助学生获取课文信息
实施方法:听录音完成相应题目,解决遇到问题
1.Listen to the tape. (3 times)

What would Mike’s father like to eat?
2.Read the sentences and fill in them.

设计意图:先让学生听录音,明白对话里谈论内容,这样就抓住了课文的要领。
活动5: What would you like to eat?
活动目标:理解和操练本课关于询问你想要吃什么的日常交际用语What would you like to eat?及回答I’d like some vegetables.句型。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1.PPT (a menu of a restaurant)
Oh, now I am hungry. Are you hungry? Let’s go to a restaurant to have lunch, OK?
I’d like some.... What would you like to eat? 板书:What would you like to eat?
2.Pair work: A: Are you hungry?
B: Yes, Let’s go to restaurant.

B: I’d like some.... What would you like to drink?

3.Reports:
设计意图:理解和操练本课主要单词和句型,让学生在本环节得到充分的练习, 在操练过程中,帮助学生直观了解单词和句型的含义,提高学生的语言表达能力。
Step 3: Product:
活动:创编对话
活动目标:通过创编对话,让学生在理解和认知的基础上,巩固本课的句型。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1.设置了一个情境:New Year’s Day is coming. We will have a party. Where will you go? What would you like to eat?
2.教师先示范,然后学生以小组为单位,根据已经学过的句型进行对话创编。每组选出一个上台展示。

设计意图:通过创编这一环节,使学生把课文语言内化为自己的语言,提高学生的运用语言的能力,并且在表演中体验学习英语的乐趣,同时也增强了学生们的合作意识。
