1．知识目标：

（1）能听说读写单词：pea, pod, bullet, excited, forever, lazy, see the world, one by one.

（2）能听说读写句子：Five peas lived together in a pod. We'll leave this pod and see the world.

2．能力目标：

（1）能借助图片提示读懂本课故事第一部分，理解每颗豌豆的理想。

（2）能运用一般过去时简单讲述本课故事。

3．情感目标：

帮助学生感受五颗小豌豆的命运变化，激发阅读兴趣。

1．重点：

（1）词汇学习：pea, pod, bullet, excited, lazy, forever, see the world, one by one

（2）句型复习：Five peas lived together in a pod.

We'll leave this pod and see the world.

2．难点：

一般过去时和一般将来时的综合运用。

教学过程

I. Pre-task preparations

1．Say a rhyme: What will you be?

2．出示豌豆植物图片，讲解词汇。

T: Look at this plant. It has some green leaves.

3．出示安徒生照片，呈现故事题目。

T: Do you know any stories about peas? Look at this man. Who's he?

S1: He's Andersen.

T: What stories did he write?

S2: He wrote “The emperor's new clothes”, “The ugly duckling”...

T: Today we'll read his story “The five peas”.

II. While-task procedures

1．完整播放故事，整体了解故事内容。

T: What is the story about? What did the fifth pea want to do? What happened to the fifth pea at last?

2．依次呈现故事前五幅图片，引导学生学习。

（1）Where did the five peas live?

（2）Who picked the pod? How did the five peas feel? Why were the peas excited?

（3）What did the boy say?

（4）What did the peas think?

3．呈现例句，区分词义。

（1）another, the other

I have two pens. One is blue, the other is red.

I have many pens. One is blue, another is red.

（2）exciting, excited

Was it an exciting match?

Look! The excited reader is coming.

4．判断句意，选词填空。

（1）I have two sons. One is Jim, and the other is Jack.

（2）The coat doesn't fit me. Could you please show me another one?

（3）He told us an exciting story yesterday.

（4）Are you excited about going to Beijing?

III. Post-task activities

1．出示故事前五幅图片，让学生听音标号。

2．把学生分成小组，分角色朗读故事。

Characters: Pea 1, Pea 2, Pea 3, Pea 4, Pea 5, Boy, Narrator

3．呈现故事图片，让学生简单复述故事。
