【第一课时】
【教学目标】
1.帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词。
2.通过Listen and say关于树的重要性的对话,帮助学生掌握核心句型We get… from ...和We use to …。
3.让学生操练核心句型,引导学生初步运用核心句型问答。
【教学重难点】
1.词汇:wood, cool
2.句型:
(1)We get wood from trees.
(2)We use wood to make pencils.
3.日常用语:That is wonderful!

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.出示两组图片,即木头、羊毛、棉花、金属、玻璃和树木、绵羊、棉花植物、土壤、沙,让学生找出两组物质之间的联系,将图片配对。例如:
2.出示两组单词:wood, metal, glass, wool, cotton和earth, sheep, trees, sand, plant,朗读以下内容:
We get wood from trees. We get metal from the earth. We get glass from sand. We get wool from sheep. We get cotton from plants.
3.让学生根据听到的内容,将两组单词配对连。
wood sheep
metal sand
glass earth
wool trees
cotton plants
II. While-task procedures
1.出示Listen and say的图片,提问What do we get from trees? 自答并板书句型:We get wood from trees. 学生齐声朗读单词wood,然后齐声朗读句型。
2.播放课本Listen and say的录音,学生跟读,齐声朗读。
3.根据课本Listen and say的内容提问,学生回答。然后让学生做反馈练习,完成海报。
(1)What do we get from trees? (We get wood from trees.)
(2)What do we use wood for? (We use wood to make pencils, desks, chairs and paper.)
4.对子活动。提问:What do we use wood for? 学生结对讨论。将学生交流、讨论的结果写在黑板上。
T: What do we use wood for?
S1: We use wood to make pencils.
S2: We use wood to make desks.
S3: We use wood to make chairs.
S4: We use wood to make paper, too.
III. Post-task activities
1.出示一些来自大自然的原材料的图片,如树、沙子等,提出问题:What do we get from the environment? What do we use wood/metal/ glass/wool/cotton for? 要求学生展开讨论。
2.出示下面的资料,让学生四人一组,用句型What do we use …for? 和We use …to…展开讨论并填写各种材料的用途,然后全班交流。
