Ⅱ. 七选五
Stress can significantly affect your ability to keep a healthy weight. 1 Whether it's the result of high levels of the stress hormone cortisol(荷尔蒙皮质醇), or unhealthy behavior related to stress, the link between stress and weight gain is obvious. But don't worry. Here are a few skills to help you.
Make exercise priority(优先). Exercising is a vital part of stress reduction and weight management. It can help you handle both issues at the same time. 2 Whether you go for a walk during your lunch break or hit the gym after work, include regular exercise into your routine.
Keep a food diary. 3 A review of studies that examined the link between self-monitoring and weight loss found that those who kept a food diary were more likely to manage weight than those who didn't. So whether you use an App to track your food intake or you write everything in a food diary, being more mindful of what you put in your mouth could improve your eating habits.
4 Whether you enjoy yoga or you find comfort in reading a good book, try adding simple stress relievers like taking a deep breath, listening to music, or going on a walk into your daily routine. Doing so can reduce your cortisol levels, helping you manage your weight.
Stick with the skills for a while. By doing so, it helps make these healthy behavior a habit and battle stress-related weight changes. 5
A. It can also prevent you from losing weight.
B. Decrease hormone cortisol in a right level.
C. Apply stress-relief skills to your daily life.
D. Remember: The early bird catches the worm.
E. Persistence can make stress and weight fall by the wayside.
F. So it's necessary to work out to prevent stress-related weight gain.
G. Paying attention to your eating habits can help you control your food consumption.

It was 4:30 in the afternoon when Mary decided to drive to her sister Jean's house for her birthday. It had been a while since the kids last saw their aunt. Mary stopped at the store to get some sandwiches for supper. After getting the sandwiches, she took a way which was different from her normal route because it was closer. While she was driving 55 miles per hour, a driver stopping at a gas station decided to pull out in front of her. Mary never had a chance to stop. Somewhere between 5~10 miles per hour, they collided(碰撞). As soon as she knew they were going to collide, she closed her eyes. Glimpses of her life passed before her eyes.
Mary's body was so sore. When she tried to open the door, she couldn't. She tried to call 911, but she couldn't get her phone turned on. No timely assistance at all. To make matters worse, her foot was stuck under the gas pedal. She was thankful that the kids were crying in the back but they were in good condition.
Looking at the front of the car, she found it smoking. She thought, “Oh, great. It's going to blow up. I'm going to die today. ” Luckily, a man came over to her and asked her if she was all right. Mary said, “No, my car door and my left foot are stuck. I can't get out. ”
The man tried to call 911 for her. He then shut her car off. He went around to the other side to free her left foot. To get her foot out, he had to take her shoe off. He then told her, “This could hurt. ” He wasn't kidding. He had to twist her foot in such an awkward position to get it out. After getting it out, he thought, “What's taking the emergency crew so long?” Watching the car smoke, he decided that he couldn't afford to wait for them. He pulled her out through the passenger side to the side of the road.

On Losing Weight
Losing weight has gained much popularity, especially among girls who are influenced by the idea that the slimmer they are, the more attractive they become.
However, the side effects of unhealthy weight-loss habits should not be ignored. For one thing, those who lose weight quickly may suffer health problems, like getting ill easily. For another, some students even report having trouble concentrating in class.
For those who are dangerously overweight, it is very important to try to lose weight properly, like having a healthy balanced diet, keeping regular hours and getting plenty of exercise. After all, being healthy is more significant than being slim.

参考范文
Mary was taken out of the car. Noticing some kind of leak coming from the car, the man pulled her a little further down the road, and then went back to the car for the kids. Once the children were out, the smoke was heavier. Within seconds, the car blew up. The sound was so loud that Mary and the children covered their ears. The man sighed with relief. Then the emergency crew and doctors came over, examined them carefully and found that there were no severe dangers.
The man explained why he was there. He was on the way to his mother's house. He happened to hear some strange sounds and saw some smoke in her car. So he drove here to find whether there was something wrong. Mary was thankful for his timely assistance. The doctors said to her, “Do you know how lucky you are? Although you're in a lot of pain and you're going to be out of work for months, you will recover from it. Another good news is that your children are in good condition. ”
