课时目标

知识目标： Help students learn the new words. invention, watch, camera, anywhere;

能力目标： Enable them to introduce inventions and their usages as well as the things they want to invent by using sentences like “I think …is a great invention. People can… I’m going to invent…”

情感目标：Let student aware of the importance of these great inventions and that inventions are everywhere.

重难点：  综合运用句型介绍different inventions.

教学过程

一. Pre-task preparations

1. Warming up & leading-in

  Reveal the topic directly and guess a riddle together.

 Paper is useful. I think paper is a great invention. (引出生词paper, 同时渗透重要句型 I think…is a great invention.)

 Brainstorming: What great inventions do you know?

 More riddles about inventions.

二．While –task procedures

1. Show the pictures of the passage.

  They are talking about great inventions.

2. Listen and match.

  Find out what great inventions do the children know.

Ask students to drag the right answer and practice the sentence “I think …is a great invention.” together.   

3. Listen to Joe’s words , 引出 I’m going to invent something myself.

                          I’m going to invent a flying bike.

4. Free talk. What are you going to invent?

5. Listen and match.

  Listen to the video and match the inventions and their usages.

    Ask students to put them in sentences and speak out with their partner by using “I think… is a great invention.  Because people can…”

  6. Chant together. 

 7. Let’s review. Read after the video.

Fill in the blank together.

三．Post –task activities

1. Role play 。(组与组分先角色朗读，之后四人一组演读。)

2. Finish the riddles on the book and teach “camera”.

3. Ask and answer. (p72)

  First, discuss in groups and then ask some groups to present..
