1.Using the simple past tense to talk about past states.
2.Using the simple present tense to talk about present states.

Pre-task preparation | Listen and enjoy
Look and say | Show the pictures for “Listen and enjoy”. and have the students say the rhyme together. Then ask them to answer some questions to review the words and patterns that they have learnt previously. Display the pictures of an egg, a caterpillar, a cocoon and a butterfly on the blackboard in a random order. Ask the students to put them in the right order according to the life stages of a butterfly. Then invite several students to describe the life stages. | 学生根据儿歌相互提问交流,活跃课堂气氛,激发学生学习的兴趣,为后面的学习做铺垫。 |

Post-task activity | Write a report
Exercises | Write the key words and patterns such as silkworm eggs, white silkworms, leaves, cocoons, brown moths, wings, lay eggs, They were… and They are… on the blackboard.Have the students work in groups of four to discuss the life cycle of silkworms. Then invite several groups to give a report in front the class. Do Part F “Read, choose and complete” of the Workbook. Then check the answers with them. | 通过听说读写四项技能综合运用,鼓励学生运用语言描写蚕宝宝的演变成长过程。 |
