【教学目标】
能听懂、会说并认读下列句子:“What do you do on Saturday?”“I often play football.”
【教学重难点】
学生能够认读单词Saturday Sunday hurry,并能运用所学句型谈论周末从事的活动。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1.Greetings.
Enjoy the song “Days of the Week”.
Read cards “Monday …Friday” 卡片翻动,day 不动,引导学生自己读出新词, Learn to say “Saturday Sunday” 通过读唇加以区分。
2.Free talk. How many days?
学新词week. From Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday to Friday we call them weekdays. (课件出示)That means we go to school. We have subjects at school. What subjects do you have? 生回答。
So what’s your favorite subject?
生回答。I can read books on Tuesday, what can you do on Tuesday? What else can you do? Yes, you have a happy school life, what about Saturday and Sunday? What about your weekend life?(课件出示weekend) Let’s look at some pictures.
课件出示教师周末时做鱼、下棋读书看电视的照片.
设计意图:首先通过free talk让学生回忆前面所学的知识,以旧带新引出本课的新知“Saturday Sunday”。
Step 2 Presentation.
1.On Saturday I often...出示多张照片,引导生来说 I often… watch TV, read books. What do you do on Saturday?
板书What do you do on Saturday/Sunday?
生回答 I often … 提问2-3个学生。提问一排。

2.Yes, you often …but what about Tom and Guoyang? What do they do on Saturday and Sunday? Let’s look at the two questions. “What do Tom and Guoyang do on Saturday?” “What does Guoyang do on Saturday?” 播放光盘。生通过观看光盘和跟读光盘找到回答。 跟读时注意模仿,看谁的语音语调和录音最接近。Now, you are Tom and Guoyang. (师手拿Danny和郭阳头像) What do you do on Saturday,Tom and Guoyang?
生回答We often…师板书We often play football. I often play the piano.
设计意图:学生通过观看、跟读了解课文大意,目标语句We often play football. I often play the piano.上口
3.再次播放光盘,生跟读,找出疑难问题,解决hurry up.跟读时注意模仿。
设计意图:通过跟读课文,让学生充分消化课文和句型,同时培养学生自己发现疑难问题的能力,以及自己思考解决问题的能力,理解短语hurry up的意义和用法.
4.全班同学分角色给课文配音。Girls Danny, boys Guoyang and Tom.
5.Ask and answer. 半班对半班

6.根据目标语句自编chant.欣赏并学唱。

[设计意图]:用chant的形式巩固新授的目标语句,节奏明快,照顾不同水平
的学生,达到人人上口的目的。

Let’s copy and say. First watch the vcr, 然后书空。Now you can copy the words. Next let’s make sentences with the word. 师示范,生说,生小组说,看哪个小组说的句子多。
利用板书,请学生对本节课所学习的内容进行总结、归纳,并朗读加深印象,对学生的表现予以肯定和表扬。
设计意图:引导学生把所学知识应用于实际生活中,最终提高实际运用语言的能力。为不同层次的学生设置不同等级的作业,给学生提供了充分的自主选择权,同时也将课内学习延伸到课外,真正做到了英语与学生的生活相联系,使学生能够学以致用。
