教学目标	By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. revise and learn about the elements of sentences and the basic sentence structures of English; 2. practise analysing the structure of the sentences; 3. master and use the basic sentence structures flexibly.
教学主题	该板块的教学主题是“分析基本句子结构”（Analyse basic sentence structures），目的是让学生辨别句子成分，理解并分析简单句的八种基本句型结构，这是学生用英语准确表达的基本条件，也是学习高中阶段语法项目的必备基础。
教学重点	引导学生掌握八种基本句型的结构，了解句子成分的划分及其功能。
教学难点	识别并正确运用简单句的基本句型结构。
教学内容与过程	Lead-in 通过问题，引入语法项目，帮助学生回顾句子的基本成分，为分析基本句子结构做铺垫。 Step 1 Grammar learning （1）就Reading and Thinking板块中的阅读语篇提出问题，学生在回顾语篇和回答问题的过程中会用到几种基本句型。 Go through the text “First Impressions” and tell me how Han Jing felt before she started senior high school. How does she feel now? （2）通过板书或课件呈现问题答案。学生观察下面三个句子，划分句子的成分，熟悉其英文缩写： She was a little anxious. SP She will make new friends. SVO There’s a lot to explore at senior high. There be ... （3）让学生完成活动1，然后师生核对答案。教学提示：教师可以根据学生情况控制句型呈现的速度。学习程度较好、初中句法知识较牢固的学生可以直接完成活动1。基础相对薄弱的学生从最简单的主谓、主谓宾结构入手。教师要引导学生多观察，反复识别，切忌单纯讲解，在落实基础知识之后再逐步增加其他句型的学习。（4）让学生分别完成活动2和活动3，然后师生核对答案。（5）学生以“高中生活的开始”为主题，模仿上述活动中的例句，说出相同结构的句子。提问： Read the sentence “She was a little anxious.” Can you think of other sentences with the same structure to talk about your new life at senior high school? 教学提示：在学习知识的过程中，学习者通过实际运用可以达到良好的记忆效果。因此，教师可以设计不同层面的练习，让学生在运用过程中掌握八种基本句型的结构与用法。针对基础薄弱的学生，可以设计类似于“My first day of school is __________. I __________ (did ... ) on my first day of school. I find it __________.”的完成句子的练习，让学生在思考、运用中掌握句子的成分与结构。针对基础较好的学生，可以设计另一种活动，例如：以“I find my first day of school interesting.”为主题写八个句子。 Step 2 Homework  Review the basic sentence structures.  Write a short composition to describe your first day of school using the basic structures.					备注
