Step1.Warming up and review.
Now boys and girls, let’s do some action. Follow me. I am singing, la-la-la. I am running, fast-fast-fast. I am laughing. Ha-ha-ha. I do, you say. What am I doing? I am singing. What am I doing? I am running. What am I doing? I am dancing.(热身并复习现在进行时)
I choose some boys and girls. They do action, you say the sentences. The girl, please. What is she doing? She is swimming. This boy, please. What is he doing? He is running. What are they doing? They are swimming.(练习现在进行时的单复数和人称的变化,为本课的内容做铺垫)
Step2. Lead in.
Look at the blackboard. What am I doing? I am drawing. What am I drawing? I am drawing a house. Who lives in the house? You don’t know?. Now let’s listen to the story. Then answer the question. (在此幻灯片插入音频并播放录音,初步感知文章,为文章学习做铺垫)
It’s Mike’s family. Do you want to know Mike? Do you want to know more about Mike’s family. Let’s go into Mike’ family. A happy family. Today let’s learn Lesson11A happy family(板书).
Today let’s build a beautiful garden. If you have a good job. I will give you a flower or a butterfly.(讲解评价的规则)
Step3. Presentation.
Now, I have some questions about Mike or Mike’s family, Let’s find out the answers together, OK?
(1).Read and answer.
- What day is it today?
- What is Mike doing?
(通过幻灯片出示问题,并逐个解决)
Read paragraph 1and2. Answer the questions? It’s Sunday today. Then take out Kate’s picture. Kate says :”What are you doing?” Who can answer the question? What is Mike doing? Mike is reading a book. (带着问题读课文,步步深入)
What about Mike’s father and mother? What are they doing? Now read paragraph 3and4. Then find out the question. This girl, please. They are working. Perfect. Give you a flower. (板书重点句).Where are they working? You , please. They are working in the garden. God job. Give you a flower. What are they doing in the garden? Now look at the picture. You ,please. They are watering the flowers. Give you a flower. (讲解water的用法,并拓展造句) Supper. Give you a flower. Now ,father and mother are watering the flowers, what about Mike and Kate? Where are they? Who is busy in the family? Now read the paragraph5 and 6 carefully ,underline the key sentences.(利用幻灯片出示问题,并深入学习文章)
(2)Read and answer.

b. What do their father and mother want?
c. What are Mike and Kate doing now?
Who is busy now? Mike’s father and mother are busy. Kate’s father and mother are busy. So we can say their father and mother are busy. This is his desk. This is her desk. They are their desks.(练习their) Their father and mother are busy. Then read paregraph5,6and7 again. Find out where is Mike? What is he doing?
You, please. Where is Mike now? Mike comes to the garden. He comes here to help their father and mother. Mike helps their father and mother. Do you help your father and mother at home? You are all good boys and girls. (德育的渗透)
What do their father and mother want? Read paragraph 6. Answer me.
Who can answer? They want some water. God job. They want some water. But the water is heavy .So many books are in your bag. Your schoolbag is very heavy. Your desk is heavy. You make a sentence. Great. So Mike and Kate are carrying water together.
Their father and mother are watering the flowers . Mike and Kate help them. Their father and mother are very happy. They are carrying water together. They help each other. They are very happy, too. So they have a happy family.(总结归纳)
(3)Listen again and read the story.(幻灯片中插入音频再次播放听力,熟悉文章)
Listen first. Then read the story by yourselves.
(4) Retell the story.

Step4 Extension. Look ,write and say.(利用幻灯片出示Peppa’s family,进行操练)
Look. Peppa and Peppa’s family. How many members in Peppa’s family. First, four students in a group. Now this book is for you. Talk about Peppa’s family first, write them down. Then let’s show them .(四人小组合作交流、探究,共同完成任务,并把Peppa的家人所做的事配图写成一本书。)
