【第二课时】
【教学目标】
1.通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生学习一般现在时中动词第三人称单数的用法。
2.通过角色扮演,帮助学生初步运用核心句型描述别人一天不同时间所做的事情。
3.通过Think and write活动,让学生进一步巩固和运用本单元核心句型。

句型:Kitty goes to school at a quarter to eight.

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.把全班分成两个大组,快速出示Look and learn中的词组卡片和以前学过的动词词组卡片,要求学生快速反应(说出词组并做动作),说对一个得一分,说错则不得分。最后,哪个组得分最高就获胜。
T: (show the flashcards for get up/...)
Group 1: Get up/...
Group 2: …
2.用两个不同人物的布偶边对话边做动作,并自问自答,让学生感受将要学习的内容。
T: (show a puppet) This is Dolly, (show another puppet) What can you do, Dolly? (act as Dolly) I can play tennis.
T: (to Dolly) What time do you play tennis, Dolly? (act as Dolly) I play tennis at five o'clock. (to the class) What time does Dolly play tennis? She plays tennis at half past five.
II. While-task procedures
1.出示Listen and say中四个时间的钟面,问学生时间,学生用It's...来回答。学生在回答时反复听到问句,头脑中自有一定的印象,为后续学习打好基础。
T: What time is it?
Ss: It's …
然后出示Listen and say的图片,发给学生练习纸,上面写有Kitty一天的活动和时间,播放Listen and say的录音,要求学生听录音,把相应的时间和活动连起来。再次播放录音,让学生核对答案。
2.播放录音,学生根据录音模仿朗读,鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。然后出示Kitty在不同时间段的图片,让学生按照图片介绍Kitty的生活。还可以让学生用表格的形式记录Kitty一天不同的时间在做什么,然后进行介绍。
3.请一个学生扮演Kitty,教师根据课文提问,让学生回答,然后提问,让全班学生一起回答。
T: What time do you get up, Kitty?
S1: (act as Kitty) I get up at seven o'clock.
T: What time does Kitty get up?
Ss: She gets up at seven o'clock.
之后继续提问,让学生根据自己的情况回答。
T: What time do you have breakfast?
S1: I have breakfast at seven o'clock.
T: (point to S1) What time does he / she have breakfast?
Ss: He / She has breakfast at seven o'clock.
4.学生三人一组,分别扮演妈妈、Kitty和讲述者,表演Listen and say的对话。
S1: (act as Mrs. Li) Wake up, Kitty.
S2: (act as Kitty) What time is it?
S1: It's seven o'clock.
S3: (act as the narrator) It is seven o'clock. Kitty gets up at seven o'clock.
S3: Now it is a quarter past seven. Kitty brushes her teeth at a quarter past seven.
S1: Have breakfast, Kitty.
S2: All right. What time is it, Mum?
S1: It's half past seven.
S3: It is half past seven. Kitty has breakfast at half past seven.
S1: Goodbye, Kitty.
S2: Goodbye, Mum.
S3: It is a quarter to eight. Kitty goes to school at a quarter to eight.
III. Post-task activities
1.鼓励学生结合自己的真实生活改编对话并表演。教师可以拓展一些单词或句子。
S1: Wake up, Linda.
S2: I'm sleepy, Mum. What time is it now?
S1: It's seven o'clock. Get up, Linda.
S2: OK, Mum.
S1: Linda, it's a quarter past seven. Hurry up. Wash your face and brush your teeth.
S2: Got it, Mum. What time is it now, Mum?
S1: It's half past seven.
S2: Oh, no! I have only five minutes to have breakfast.
S1: It's time for school, Linda.
S2: Goodbye, Mum. I'm afraid I'm late for school.
2.学生在作息表中把自己一天中不同时段的活动写下来,然后和同桌交换表格,向全班介绍同桌的生活。请几对学生上来向全班介绍。
S1: I get up at half past six. I brush my teeth at a quarter to seven...
S2: (S1's name) gets up at half past six. He / She brushes his/her teeth at a quarter to seven...
3.然后让学生完成Think and write,写几句话介绍自己的作息情况。最后,可以让学生调查一个同学的作息情况,填写调查表,并作简单的汇报。
