2. Ask students to brainstorm what they know about Peking Opera.

3. Read the article and find out what Peking Opera is about.

Play the tape. Ask the students to listen to it and read after that.

Find out the main idea of the passage and read carefully to figure the main idea of each paragraph..

Read the article after the tape.
