Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting: Welcome to my English class.
2. Free talk
(1) T: Would you like ···? /Look at my coat. /What colour is it ?
What’s this ? /Is this your ···? 引出 How lovely!的教学。
(2) Welcome to our English class. 欢迎来到我们的英语课堂。
3. Sing a song “ 0,5,10“
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: Can you say the numbers you heard? Teach: 1-10
T: Now can you count from one to ten ?
T: Let’s play a game. Magic eyes.
2.T: Look at the cake and this is a birthday cake.Whose cake is it?
Let’s look .Guess . How old is she? Let’s ask her.

T: Helen is eight. What about you ? How old are you ?
Teach : How old are you ?
3.T: Today we’ll learn a new lesson Unit 5 How old are you?

Step3 Consolidation
1 .T: Now this time you can read the dialogue by yourself. And then finish the exercise .
