There’s Chinese dancing.

一、        教学目标

1．知识目标

（1）四会单词：miss   sometimes   restaurant   really  dancing 。

（2）句型：There’s  a  Chinatown  in  New  York.

There  are  lots  of  Chinese  shops  and restaurants there.

There’s Chinese dancing.

2．能力目标

(1) 培养学生思维构图的能力。

(2)学生能用英语进行生活交际，利用这一句型描述生活中的物品。同时通过练习让学生体会合作的重要性。

3．情感目标

(1)在思维构图的学习形势下，通过活动、游戏学生能产生学习英语的兴趣；学生能敢于、乐于、善于开口讲英语，积极参与交流，树立学好英语的信心。

(2)在本课的设计中，比较充分地运用了新课程标准的教育教学理念，引导学生思维构图，采用了多媒体课件，考虑了新课标下的学生特点，强调了学生共同合作，参与学习过程。   

二、教学重难点

1．教学重点是学生能听说读写单词词组：miss   sometimes   restaurant   really  dancing；能运用There’s  a  Chinatown  in  New  York. There  are  lots  of  Chinese  shops  there. 进行交际。

2. 学生一边完成思维导图，一边用英语说句子。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Pre-reading

Step1. Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Bella.

T: I’m so pleased to stand here to see you. And today, we will learn something interesting all around the world. Do you want to join this class?

Ss: Yes.

T:First, let’s sing a song together, OK?

Ss: OK.

(师生齐唱歌曲)

【设计思路】以上两个活动可以营造英语的气氛，调动学生学习英语的积极性，拉近师生的距离；另外，歌曲和本节课息息相关，为 学生理解 本课打下良好的学习基础。

Ⅱ.While-reading

Step1. Teach new sentences.

1.T: OK, next, I will show you some pictures. Watch carefully. OK, these pictures are about Chinatown. Do you know what’s Chinatown? Who can read it? You, please. Now follow me to read.

2. T: Look at this map, we know “there are many Chinatowns in the world.

3. T: Next, look at this map. Do you know which country it is? Yes, America. OK. New York is here. And we know, there is a Chinatown in New York.

4. T:Next, let’s know more about Chinatown. OK? Watch a video, then you should answer my question.

5. T: Look at  these pictures. Can you tell me more about Chinatown?  You please. Yes, there are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

6. T: Next, let’s go on. Please tell me more about Chinatown.

   OK. Can you tell me more about Chinatown?

   Yes, there’s Chinese dancing.

   Let’s watch this video. Ca you tell me more about Chinatown?

Step2. Retell the sentences.

1. T: Now, look here.

Wow, there are so many interesting things in Chinatown, right? Do you want to go to Chinatown?

OK, let’s go o Chinatown.

Now, let’s retell these sentences.

2. T: I will give you some minutes to picture.

       Who want to come here, and retell the story?

【设计思路】让学生在形成思维构图的前提下，用主要句型来复述整个故事。以巩固整节课的重要知识点的效果。

Step3. Play a game.

1. T: Next, let’s play this game.

   Look here, you should find the right cards, then make sentences with these sentence pattern. And you will be the winner.

  Have you got it?

2. T: Well, I’ll ask 5 students to come here.

Let’s say 1 2 3 go. You can begin.

Who get the right cards?

OK, you 3, make sentences.

OK, you are the winner, presents for you.

【设计思路】让学生在已学习到的知识的基础上进步完成思维导图，可以使学生养成用英语进行思维的好习惯。

Step4.引导学生自己完成一副思维导图，并在完成的过程中自己练习句型。

T: Let’s say together, according to the blackboard.

Ss: OK.

T: Now, you should draw a picture, just like this. Then you can practice by yourself. Take out your paper. I will give you some minutes to finish. Go please!

Step1. Watch a video about the real life in Chinatown.

T: I will show you the video.
