Unit 1 There are only nineteen crayons.第一课时课时内容1.Listen and chant.& 2.Listen, read and act out.课时分析本课时是第五模块第一单元的第1课时。本课时首先通过Activity 1同学们数手指上笑脸数的对话来引入基数词的学习,然后通过Activity 2 埃米和萨姆数蜡笔的对话引出对crayon、begin、floor、nineteen等单词和句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”的学习。面对五年级的学生,虽然有一定的英语基础,可是在自由表达方面存在困难,教学设计中我引导学生观察构词规律,利用生动形象的动画,声音调动学生学习的积极性。有效将评价及时运用到课堂中,增加学生学习的积极性。在本课的教学设计中,我把学生做为课堂的主体,真正的将课堂还给学生。通过课前唱英文歌曲《ten little Indians》唤起学生对数字1到10的回忆,活跃课堂气氛,增强学生的求知欲;接着由chant使学生感知10到20之间数字认识的空缺,再通过Ms Smart 让Sam分发蜡笔的过程呈现将要学习的内容。在此过程中,穿插数数和抢答游戏,决定获胜者,巩固从1到20的英语单词的读音。 本课时包括Listen and chant.和Listen, read and act out.两个板块。Listen and chant.呈现了本单元所学的重点和重要句型,由“How many”导入到“数词的表达和应用”等。Listen, read and act out.板块为大家讲述了我们的英语课堂上大家分发蜡笔的活动内容。该部分涉及到数词的表达和there be句型的运用,通过该活动的学习让学生学习到同学之间要互相友爱互相帮助,与人分享和互相谦让等品质,这样既可以丰富我们的教学内容,又可以增添教学的乐趣。本模块主要学习“There be...”句型及基数词。本模块要求学生灵活使用句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”描述某物的数量,并鼓励学生积极联系实际生活,关注生活,能和同学互相谈论某物的数量。课时目标(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:crayon,begin,floor。(2)能够听、说、认读单词和短语:nineteen,fifteen,thirteen,fourteen,sixteen,seventeen,eighteen,give out,all right。(3)能够运用句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”描述某物的数量。(4)掌握本课时的四会、三会单词短语。(5)能够运用所学的句型谈论物品的数量。(6)能正确地理解课文对话,并能朗读、初步表演对话。课时重难点1.重点(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:crayon,begin,floor。(2)运用句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”描述物品的数量。2.难点基数词的记忆与运用。教学准备多媒体课件、卡片、情景教学法、游戏法、角色扮演法教学过程Step 1:Warmup师生用日常英语进行对话。T:Class begins.Is everyone here?Ss:Yes.T:OK.Look at the picture.How many apples can you see?(用课件呈现图片,图片上有5个苹果)Ss:Five!T:Very good! And how many oranges can you see?(用课件呈现图片,图片上有8个橘子)Ss:Eight.T:Yes! I bought eight oranges yesterday.But there are seven oranges today.Why?Ss:Because you ate an orange.Ha ha.【设计意图】在课前热身时间,通过问答练习让学生对以前学过的数字进行复习,同时使用句型“How many...?”自然引入本课时Activity 1部分的学习,过渡自然。Step 2:Presentation1.Activity 1教材意图此活动为两则短对话,通过已学过的句型“How many...can you see?”来询问某物的数量,引出新单词fifteen和twenty的学习。教学建议(1)教师利用课件呈现教材第26页 Activity 1的图片,然后询问学生:What can you see in the pictures? What can you see on their fingers? How many faces can you see?(2)教师引导学生观察图片,让学生初步感知情景。(3)教师引入新单词fifteen、twenty的学习。示例如下:T:Look at the picture.What can you see on their fingers?Ss:Faces.T:Yes.There are some faces on their fingers.Please count them one by one.请数一数。(指着左边的情景图)Ss:One,two,three...15!T:Yes,fifteen faces we can see.Fifteen! Please follow me.Fifteen! Fifteen! Fifteen!Ss:Fifteen! Fifteen! Fifteen!T:Very good.Now please look at the picture.How many faces can you see? Twenty!(4)教师讲解对话内容,并带领学生朗读对话。(5)教师播放录音,让学生模仿其语音、语调跟读。2.Activity 2教材意图本活动通过萨姆和埃米在课堂上数蜡笔的对话学习四会单词crayon、begin、floor,数词nineteen、fifteen、thirteen、fourteen、sixteen、seventeen、eighteen,短语give out、all right及句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”。教学建议(1)教师引出话题:Today Sam and his classmates have a class.They need crayons,so Ms Smart bought some crayons yesterday.Do you know how many crayons she bought? Let’s go and see.(2)教师让学生先观察图片,根据图片猜测课文内容,初步感知课文情景。(3)教师播放录音,让学生模仿其语音、语调跟读课文。(4)教师在黑板上板书出四会单词crayon、begin和floor,然后教读单词并讲解。①T:Look at the picture.What is it?(课件呈现蜡笔的图片)Ss:蜡笔。T:Yes.It’s a crayon.②T:Look at the picture.What did Ms Smart say?(指着教材第26页底部图片)Ss:She says class begins.T:Yes.Please follow me.Begin! Floor.Please read.Ss:Floor.(5)教师在黑板上板书短语give out和all right,并教读。T:What things did Ms Smart let Sam do?(指着教材第26页底部图片)Ss:Ms Smart let Sam give out the crayons.T:Yes.And what did Sam say?Ss:All right!T:Yes! Give out.Please read.(做出“分发”的动作)Ss:Give out.T:All right! Follow me,please.(给出all right的卡片)Ss:All right.…(6)教师带领学生一起阅读、理解课文,并在课文中遇到数词(thirteen、fourteen、fifteen、sixteen、seventeen、eighteen、nineteen)的地方,板书并教读,可以给出相应的单词卡片辅助学生记忆。(7)教师用“How many...?”提问,引导学生根据课文内容用“There are...”句型回答。T:Look at the picture.How many crayons are there on the teacher’s desk?(指着教材第27页顶部的情景图)Ss:There are only nineteen crayons!T:Very good! How many crayons are there at the picture?(指着教材第27页底部的情景图)Ss:There are twentyone crayons.教师板书句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”并讲解。(8)教师再一次播放录音,让学生模仿录音的语音、语调跟读两遍课文,进一步熟悉课文。(9)教师邀请学生分角色进行对话表演。Step 3:Practise1.快速反应游戏教师用中文说出数字,要求学生快速说出对应英文数字。看看哪位同学的反应最快。【设计意图】反复让学生记忆数字、加深学生印象,以达到复习巩固生词的目的。2.句子接龙游戏(1)教师把全班同学分为四个小组。(2)教师分别给每组限定一个场景。组内学生要一个接一个地快速说出该场景里有什么。教师提醒学生注意说清数量,且不能与前面同学说过的物品重复。看看哪个小组接的句子最多。T:教室里面有什么?S1:There are twenty students.S2:There are ten boys.S3:There are twentyone desks....Step 4:Consolidation and extension1.复习单词教师任意出示一张本课的单词或短语卡片,要求学生快速地读出单词或短语,并说出中文意思。2.复习句型教师要求学生回家观察家里的物品,并用“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”造五个句子。Step 5 Homework1.跟读三遍课文。2.用There are/is...写句子。板书设计 Module5Unit 1 There are only nineteen crayons.crayon begin floornineteen fifteen thirteen fourteen sixteen seventeen eighteen give out all rightThere be+基数词+名词(+其他).课堂作业一、圈出下列每组中不同类的一项。1.crayon pencil ball2.pens crayons class3.fifteen twenty many4.see bought lose二、单项选择。( )1.
