    【导入】RevisionLeadin

    T: In Section A , we have talked about some inventions and about their history.

    Then show some pictures of a car, a telephone, a computer, etc. And have students ask and answer in pairs like this:

    S1: When was the computer invented?

    S2: It was invented in 1971.

     

    【讲授】New words learning There are different kinds of food in each floor of the fridge. Do you  know how they taste? Learn four words of taste according to

    the pictures and a bag of potato chips. Then finish 1a.

     

    【活动】Game

    1.See who is the first!

    Ask students to stand up and speak out the taste of the food.

    2.Ask students to help the teacher add more food which has different flavors in the fridge, then finish 1a.

     

    【练习】Practice

    Have students read the instructions and finish 1b individually. Then check up the answers.

     

    【讲授】New words learning by telling a story:

    T: Maybe most of you like to eat potato chips, but do you know the history of potato chips? Today I’ll tell you the story about the history of potato chips.

    (While telling the stories, the teacher presented the new words : customer and thick. This part can help students finish 1c and 1d better.)

     

    【练习】Listening practice

    Have students look through the passage in the box of 1d and guess the missing parts. Then listen to the tape and complete the sentences.

     

    【小组活动】 Pairwork

    Present the following questions and ask students to answer them:

    1. Who were potato chips invented by?

    2. When were they invented?

    3. How were they invented?

    4. How do they taste?

    Have students look through the uncompleted conversations in 2e. Then ask them to make up a conversation by using the above questions and their answers. Finally ask some pairs to act out.

     

    【练习】 Exercises

    Ask students to do some exercises about the key words, phrases, sentences and grammar in this period so that we can find out how much they have learned in this period.

     

    【总结】 Summary

    T: In this class, we’ve mainly known about the history of potato chips by listening and speaking. In this unit we have learned a lot of inventions. And some of them are very helpful and important. They have changed the world a lot. Maybe you can also invent one or some useful inventions one day if you study hard. Believe in yourself. Nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.

     

    【作业】 Homework

    Ask students to make up or read a story about the history of an invention. And then tell the story to your classmates.

    教师反思

    1. 生单词应该叫学生轮流重复有助记忆,带动气氛。
    2. 游戏环节的词汇应该让学生再造句子练习。
    3. 听力部分练后让学生再朗读听力材料。
    4. 小组讨论领读再做对话。

    总的来说学生自觉性差,基础差导致课堂进度慢,一道习题未处理,其次要做好预习检查工作,让学生跟的上课堂进度,最后,课堂教学设计要依据学生的实际情况适当增减难度。
