一、 教学目标:

三、 学情分析:
我校四年级的学生对英语学习热情较高,在词汇及动词短语方面有一定的基础,对英语中的不同时态能正确的区分,大部分学生能准确的使用不同的时态来表达自己的想法。由于部分学生处于注意力不能长时间集中的年龄阶段,教师的授课内容是否够精彩,严谨,扎实影响着这部分学生的学习状态,但大部分学生都能做到上课认真听讲并练习巩固,学生们能按时完成课后作业,并乐于参加各类英语比赛活动。

五、教学过程:
Step1.Warming up
- Free talk.
T:What will you do this weekend?
S:I’ll…
T:She/He will…
Ask 2 or 3students “What will you do this weekend?”
- Play 2 games.
(1)Listen, read and judge.(Get to know more about each other)
Teacher will say some sentences like:
You will go to park this weekend.
You are good at English.
I'm good at Art.
I will draw a picture this weekend.
Students make a judge, if they think it is true, say “yeah yeah yeah ”. if they think it is false, say “no no no”.
(2)30-second non stop talking.(Check what do they know)
Students work in pairs, ask and answer “What will you do this weekend? I‘ll…”
Then students show their work, teacher let them answer what will their classmates do?
(The two games can activate the knowledge they have.)
Step2.Leading-in
Students watch the cartoon and find what are the sheep good at? And try to guess what will they do?
T: What’s the green sheep good at?
S: She’s good at…
T: What will she do?
S: She’ll...
(The meaningful learning not only repeat the text, but also let students think more about the text.)
Step3.Presentation and practice
- Tell students they will watch a cartoon about Lingling and her friends, and try to find what’s their English newspaper talk about. Students watch it.
- Let students watch the cartoon again, try to find the details, what will everyone do? What are they good at? Then fill the answers in the blanks. Teacher will choose one student do it on the screen.
- Students read the text together.
- Students try to retell the text, and teacher write down their sentences on the blackboard.
(Students will benefit from the complete reading, this reading mode could help students to understand the logical relation in the text.)
Step4. Consolidation
Students watch a video which is about how to make an English newspaper, I shoot it with my students. Then students make their English newspaper.
(It’s the challenge for them to make an English newspaper in short time, they need work together.)
Step5.Homework
- Beautify your newspaper.
- Write down your weekend plan on the notebook.
Step6.Blackboard design

Daming will draw the pictures. Amy will write the reports.
Sam will cut the paper. Lingling will stick the pictures.
