乐学：Arousing students’ interest and helping them learn by using pictures.Building their confidence by step by step approach and careful scaffolding

学会：Be able to know the functions of present participle and make sentences with the grammar.

Be able to find some cultural differences between Chinese and Western countries.

会学：Try to know the -ing form and group the words.

Try to use the -ing form to express themselves.

学情分析：

Grade four is the basic stage for the primary school students to learn English.The important task of this stage is to stimulate and maintain students' interest in learning English. Therefore, in the design of teaching activities must be based on the situation of the students, the use of flexible and diverse teaching methods to attract the attention of students.We should encourage the students to speak English as much as possible in class. Only students are willing to participate in active participation, the students will be active in the state of thinking, learning English will not make students feel difficult.Although the students have mastered some knowledge of English in grade 123, but in the learning methods and learning strategies, there is a big gap, especially in problem-solving skills and skills also lack of exercise.

重点：To help students learn about the–ing form as the Predicative.

难点：To help students discover and learn the use of the -ing form.

在单词教学时，贺老师注意了“词不离句”的原则，让学生学到的不仅仅是几个单词，要能在合适的语境中进行运用交流；在对话、阅读、故事教学中，创设一定的语言情境，引导学生在解决问题的过程中，学习语言知识，发展语言技能。学生通过课堂中的几个活动，在老师的引导下运用恰当的学习方法开展自主学习，合作学习和探究学习，有效监控和管理学习过程，多渠道获取学习资源。其中在给ing单词分组的这个活动中，学生分析、推断信息的逻辑关系，并进行分类、概括，建构新的概念，表达自己的观点，形成良好的思维习惯，提高多元思维能力。学生的创新思维能力和批判性思维能力得到锻炼。最后的拓展活动中，孩子们获得文化知识，理解文化内涵，比较文化异同，吸收文化精华，形成的价值观和自信、自尊、自强的品格和对优秀文化的认知判断能力，具备一定的跨文化沟通和传播中华优秀文化的能力，具有国家意识和全球视野。

总之，英语素养的形成不是一朝一夕的工作，实际上它是一种习惯的养成，因此，需要我们在教学中不断探索和创新方式方法，为学生英语素养的提高提供条件，为学生创造出有意义的学习经历，通过身体挖掘、文化挖掘、大脑挖掘、心灵挖掘等培养出sunny（阳光），happy（快乐），independent（独立），naive（天真）和excellent（优秀）的学生，做到“教书”的同时更加要注重“育人”，注重培养学生的核心素养，从而提升他们的素质，提升他们和其身边人的幸福指数，让学生受用终生。
