【第一课时】
【教学目标】
I. 语言目标:
1.语音:能听读、辨认字母e在left, second, get, then等单词中的发音.
2.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语turn left, turn right, go straight, get on, get off, hotel, hospital, airport, railway station;能听、说、读、写单词hotel, hospital 和短语take a bus.
3.句型:能用“Can you show me the way to the …?”、“You can ...”问路和指路.
II. 应用目标:
1.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
2.能借助地图和语段框架,基本正确运用句型问路和指路.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语turn left, turn right, go straight, get on, get off, hospital, airport, railway station;能听、说、读、写单词hotel, hospital和短语take a bus;能听懂、会说本单元基本句型.
2.难点:A部分单词短语较多,生词along, first, second, third, crossing的读音和含义只要求学生基本掌握,教师要根据学生实际情况适当降低要求.
【教学准备】
单词和短语图片,单词和短语卡片,教学图片、教学音频等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Greetings.
2.TPR.
教师给出以下指令:
Stand up. / Raise your left/ right arm. / Turn left/ right. / Go forward./ ...
学生根据听到的指令做动作.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.教师利用图片或课件教动词短语take a bus.
take a bus Bus No. 112 Bus No. 303 Bus No.111
T: I take a bus to go home. I take Bus No.112 to go home. You may take Bus No.303 to the zoo. You may take Bus No.111 to the park. You may take Bus No. 368 to the hotel.
教师带读take a bus →take Bus No.111→You may take Bus No.111 → You may take Bus No. 111.(操练可以采用个人、全班、小组、男女生、分组、分行等多种形式.) →然后让学生用新句型“You may take Bus…to the…”进行造句练习.
2.教师利用图片教单词hospital, airport和railway station.
T: I am sick. I want to go to the hospital to see a doctor. This is the first hospital of Changsha.This is the second hospital of Changsha.This is the third hospital of Changsha.
教师带读hospital→ the first hospital → the second hospital →the third hospital(操练可以采用个人、全班、小组、男女生、分组、分行等多种形式.)
railway station airport
T: I want to go to Guangzhou by train. I can take Bus No.1 to the railway station.
T: I want to go to Beijing by plane. I go to the airport.
教师带读并板书.
3.教师利用动作教动词短语get on和get off.
T: I want to go to the railway station. I take Bus No.1 to the railway station. I get on the bus. This is the railway station. I get off the bus.
教师带读并板书.
4.教师利用图片教短语go straight.
turn left turn right go straight
教师带读,学生操练.
5.Game: Listen and do听听做做.
游戏规则:教师请几个学生同时上台,分别拿着不同地点的单词卡片,听到句子举起相应的卡片.
T: I go to the hospital. / This is the Xinhua Hotel. / You may take Bus No.1 to the railway station. / You may take Bus No.114 to the airport. / I am going to the library. / I went to the cinema yesterday. / ...
III. 课文学习(Learn the text)
1.第一遍听录音,学生通过回答问题理解对话的主要信息.
(1)Where does the old man want to go? ( )
a.the Xinhua Hospital b.the Xinhua Hotel
(2)Which bus does he take? ( )
a.Bus No.206. b.Bus No.260.
2.第二遍听录音,学生理解对话细节.
(1)听音排序.
( )Then turn left at the second crossing.
( )Get off at the third stop.
( )You may take Bus No. 206 to the hotel.
( )Just go straight along this road.
(2)学生打开书核对答案,并画出句子.
3.教师呈现对话中出现的路线图.
(1)教师逐句板书表示指路的句子,并引导学生在地图上画出路线.
(2)教师引导学生通过路线图理解生词along, crossing和stop.
4.比较字母e在left, second, get, then等单词中的发音.
(1)教师板书单词left, second, get, then, very.
(2)让学生认真朗读,仔细观察,发现共同点,总结规律.
(3)教师简单讲解/e/的发音要领:舌尖抵下齿,上下齿之间可以容纳一个食指尖.
5.操练对话.
(1)教师播放录音,全班整体跟读.
(2)教师播放录音,同桌分角色跟读.
(3)同桌分角色简单操练.
IV. 拓展活动(Extension)
1.教师提供地图和语段框架.
