Maggie is the mother of three children. Her children are 14, 13 and 9 years old. Maggie is always a loving mother.

One day, however, when she came back from work, it was nearly 6 o’clock in the evening. She was very tired and when she went into the living room, she found her children were watching TV. The room was dirty and untidy. There were empty glasses and dirty clothes on the floor. There were cakes on the sofa. Toys were everywhere.

Every family has a lot of housework to do. I think it’s our duty to help our parents do some housework. I often help my parents do the dishes, clean rooms and sweep the floor. The summer vacation is coming. I’m going to learn how to cook delicious food. I will also help my grandpa water the flowers every day.

I think doing housework can make me know how to take care of myself and my family. It is also a kind of exercise to keep me healthy. I’m sure that I’ll have a busy but happy vacation.
