Task

一、教学目标

1. 掌握本单元重点词汇：plan a day out, square, see the biggest city square in the world, take the 

underground/bus to …, by underground/walk to …, on foot

2. 掌握本单元重点句型：

We are planning a day out on …

It will take about … minutes/hour(s) to get to …

Then /After that /Next, we will go to…on foot/walk to …

The cost is about … per student.

3. 通过分析课本范文，总结邀请信的结构。

4. 能够写信邀请朋友出行。

重点：

1. 通过各种学习活动，帮助学生明确旅行计划的形式和概念。

2. 利用范例，分析邀请信的结构，并创设情境引导学生书写邀请信。

难点：引导学生利用范例，分析邀请信的结构，引导学生书写邀请信。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up

Guide Ss to play a guessing game to get to know the three places, Tian’anmen Square, Beihai Park and the Palace Museum.

【设计意图】利用猜谜游戏帮助学生了解天安门广场、北海公园和故宫的基本情况，为下边的学习做准备。

Step 2 Pre-writing

1. Guide Ss to brainstorm what we should think about when planning a day out and give more details about what and how.

【设计意图】通过头脑风暴，引导学生快速反应在指定出行计划时要考虑的核心因素，并针对做什么和出行方式给更多的细节。

2. Guide Ss to read the plan and answer questions.

(1) How many places of interest are they going to visit?

(2) How will they get to Tian’anmen Square from Sunshine Town?

(3) What will they do in Beihai Park?

(4) When will they leave Wangfujing Street?

【设计意图】引导学生阅读Kitty和Daniel的出行计划，并通过问题，引导学生关注旅行计划在的核心信息。

3. Guide Ss to complete the letter using the information from the plan.
【设计意图】引导学生参考前面的出行计划将课本上的邀请信补充完整，为接下来的分析信件结构做好准备。

4. Guide Ss to analyse the structure of the invitation letter.

【设计意图】引导学生分析邀请信的结构，为下边的实战写作做准备。

5. Guide Ss to learn how to use different ways to express time, transport and activity.

【设计意图】引导学生通过范文中的例句，归纳总结表达时间，交通及活动的方式，为写作积累语言素材。

6. Guide Ss to summarize useful expressions.

【设计意图】通过总结句式表达，帮助学生积累更多的写作素材。

7. Guide Ss to fill in a table to plan a day out.

【设计意图】引导学生计划一天的出行活动，并填写表格，为接下来的写作理清思路。

Step 3 While-writing

Guide Ss to write a letter to invite their classmates to go on a day trip with them and their friends.

【设计意图】通过写作，锻炼学生的语言输出能力。

Step 4 Post-writing

Guide Ss to evaluate their writings in groups.

【设计意图】通过组内互评，培养学生发现问题的能力，同时在阅读同伴的作文中，可以反思自己文章的不足之处。

Step 5 Summary

Summarize what they’ve learnt in this class.

Step 6 Homework

1. Perfect their invitation letters.

2. Recite the letter in the textbook.

3. Summarize what they’ve learned in Unit 3 in their notebooks.
