    by 的用法

    1. by+doing表示通过某种方法,方式或手段,可以用来回答how引导的特殊疑问句。

    2. by表示连续或反复,意为(一个)接着(一个);(一个)又(一个)。

    one by one    year by year     little by little    step by step

    3. by+交通工具表交通方式,交通工具前不用冠词。

    4.意为在......旁,靠近

    by, inwith都可以表示方式方法或手段,但用法不同:

    by 后常加表示交通工具的名词,名词前不加任何词 。

    with后常加具体的工具或自身的某种器官。

    感叹句一般是用来表示说话时的喜悦、惊讶等情感。英语感叹句常用"what""how"引导,"what""how"与所修饰的词置于句首,其它部分用陈述句语序。

    what 意为"多么"用作定语,修饰名词(被强调部分).

    这类句子的结构形式是:

    what+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语+(it is).

    单数可数名词前要加不定冠词a/an,复数可数名词或不可数名词前不用冠词。

    ① What an interesting story it is! 

    ② What good children they are! 

    ③ What heavy snow it is!

    How意为"多么"用作定语,修饰名词(被强调部分).

    这类句子的结构形式是:

    How+adj.adv.+主语+谓语+(it is).

    如果修饰形容词,则句中的谓语动词用系动词;如果how修饰副词,则句中的谓语动词用行为动词。

    重点语法复习

    宾语从句的定义

    宾语从句(OBJECT CLAUSE)是名词性从句的一种。在主从复合句中充当宾语,位于及物动词、介词或复合谓语之后的从句称为宾语从句。

    宾语从句的连词

    1. that 在句中无词义,不充当句子成分,口语中一般可以省略。 He told me that he would go to the college the next year.

    2. whether/if 在从句中不做任何成分,意为"是否"if/whether不能省略。 I don't know if there will be a bus any more.

    3. 疑问词:what/which/when/where/why/who/how在从句中做成分,意为与作疑问词相同,不能省略。

    I don't know whom you should depend on.

    宾语从句的语序

    宾语从句的语序是陈述句语序即:

    连接代词/副词+主语+谓语+其他成分。

    Could you tell me when the train will leave?

    He asked if I didn’t come to school yesterday.
