根据短文内容,判断正误(正确“T”,错误“F”),并将所选答案涂到答题卡的相应位置上。
Recently, anxiety about eye health of students is very real. Many students have started wearing glasses. However, Wantang Primary School in Yunnan province might be a special case. It has achieved something remarkable(非凡的)—none of its 536 students have myopia(近视). Eye health experts say some of its methods are worth learning.
First of all, every student is required to go outside during class breaks. They play outdoors for over three hours a day, according to Yang Qingyi, a teacher at the school. “Even for shy kids, we encourage them to take a walk outside,” he said.
Other methods have also helped. For example, students don’t take smartphones or other electronic devices(设备)to school. They get at least 10.5 hours of sleep every day. The school tries to provide a balanced diet. And there are green trees all around the school. according to the school’s head teacher.
Nationwide, the attention on eye health has been growing. The double-reduction policy came out in July 2021. It says that primary schools should not give homework to first-and second-graders so that they won’t use their eyes too much. There is also a guideline brought out by the National Health Commission (NHC), saying that schools should examine students’ eyesight(视力)at least twice every year.

Has the smell of something ever made you think of a spring day? Do some smells make you happy? Do others relax you?
Believe it or not, smells can change the way a person feels. Each day scientists learn more about this. They ask people to sniff(闻)different smells. Then they ask what each smell reminds them of or how it makes them feel. Now scientists are trying different scents(香味)to make people feel better.
Scientists now understand what certain scents do. One thing they know is that lemons and oranges remind people of things that are fresh and clean. So people who make cleaners and soaps for the home often put lemon or orange scent in them.
The smell of vanilla(香草)helps people relax. Its scent is often put into the air in hospitals. A peppermint(薄荷)scent keeps people awake. This is often used in office buildings. People need to keep their heads clear when they’re working. The apple scent reminds many people of their homes. Some stores put the scent in the air to make people comfortable. That way they’ll want to buy something.

Ink wash painting (水墨画) is an old and beautiful Chinese art. This special drawing technique is created with a brush, dipped into ink, then in water before being painted onto rice paper or silk. As you can see, the paintings are created just in black and white. It is said that the technique was invented by an artist named Wang Wei.
Ink wash paintings often feature trees, flowers, landscapes, animals, birds and people. Also, they often go with Chinese poems. The painting style does not put high importance on a precise description of a real scene or object. They are often improvised (即兴的) works from beautiful scenery (风景). Therefore, this type of painting is hard to copy. Today there are many new Chinese artists that use the traditional Chinese ink wash technique to draw new sceneries and pictures.
The first ink wash animation (动画) in China came out in 1960. It’s called Little Tadpole Looking for Mummy. All the animals, plants and rocks in the film are drawn with ink and brush. The film is about 15 minutes long. But it took lots of work. Without computers, the artists had to draw everything by hand. One second of animation needs 24 pictures! Little Tadpole Looking for Mummy won prizes at home and abroad. From then on, ink wash painting and animation becomes more popular in China. People in the world get to know more about ink wash paintings since then!

A lot of people have the habit of reading on the toilet. But in some public restrooms in Shanghai, you won’t be able to do that. If you spend more than 15 minutes on the smart toilet there, a staff member will come to check on you.
According to reports, about 150 high-tech restrooms have been built in the city. Each toilet there has a sensor that can detect (发现) when a person sits on the toilet and how long he has spent sitting there. Besides, the sensor can also check the air quality inside the toilets and adjust (调节) the water level to save water. Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen are also going to use smart toilets.
“I think it’s OK with me, because I don’t think it’s a good idea to read on the toilet,” a 22-year-old young man said. However, some people aren’t very happy with the smart toilet. “This could be embarrassing for me. Since I was a little kid, I’ve always spent about half an hour on the toilet. It means a restroom worker would check on me twice. This makes me nervous,” another person surnamed Liu said.
In fact, the smart toilet is part of China’s effort to use artificial intelligence (AI) (人工智能) in different areas of life. Now technology is being used almost everywhere. You may know about “junk food” like French fries. But do you know about “junk sleep”?
Recently, a British survey found that electronic products in teenagers’ bedrooms are having a bad influence on their sleep.
The survey was done among 1,000 British kids from 12 to 16. It found that fifty percent of them got just 4 to 7 hours’ sleep every day. But doctors say they need 8 to 9 hours.
Almost a quarter of the kids said they fell asleep more than once a week while watching TV, listening to music or using electronic products.
“This is very worrying,” said Dr Chris Idzikowski, a British professor. “We call it ‘junk sleep’. It means you don’t get enough sleep and the quality of the sleep is bad, too. If you don’t get a good rest, you can’t perform well in school the next day.”
