    Step 1: Warming-up

    2. Ask and answer

    T: Here are some pictures. How do we go to Beijing/Shanghai/ Australia/ the UK?

    3. Read and write

    根据句意填空。(PPT呈现)

    Step 2: Cartoon time

    1. Presentation

    T: Look at this picture. Who are they?

    S: Bobby and his father.

    T: Right. Today we’ll learn a story about them. What does Bobby want to do? (播放卡通)

    (1) Watch and answer

    T: What does Bobby want to do?

    S: He wants to go to school by bike.

    (2) Read and underline the answers to these questions. (PPT呈现问题)

    (3) Check the answers and answer the questions.

    a. T: What does Bobby have?

    S1: He has a bike.

    b. T: What does Bobby like?

    S2: He likes riding a bike in a park.

    c. T: Can Bobby go to school by bike? Why?

    S1: No, he can’t.

    S2: Because he’s too young.

    d. T: How does Sam go to school? Why?

    S1: He goes to school by bike. But he always sits in the basket.

    S2: He’s young too.

    2. Read and act

    (1) Read after the tape.

    (2) Choose one way to read.

    (3) Act in pairs.

    3. Design an ending.

    T: Can you imagine what will happen at last? Please design an ending to this story.

    T: Look! Here’s my ending. One day, Bobby’s father takes Bobby to school by bike. Bobby is sitting in the basket too.

    Step 3: Development

    T: Can you come to school by bike?

    S: No, I can’t.

    T: Why?

    S: Because I’m too young.

    T: In China, students over 12 years old can ride a bike. So you can’t go to school by bike by yourselves. But you can ride it near your home with your parents.

    Step 4: Homework

    1. Listen, read and act Cartoon time.

    2. Think and write your friend’s family address and their public transport. More than five sentences.

    Step 5: Show on the blackboard
