Step 1: Lead in
T:Look at the pictures and report the weather in different places.

【教学设计说明】The main purpose of this part is to review the sentence patterns of asking about the weather and the adjectives to describe the weather.
Step 2: Grammar Focus
Explain the key points:
(一)现在进行时(Ⅱ)
有关现在进行时的注意事项
不能用于现在进行时的情况:
① 表示存在状况:be, remain等。
eg: Tom is a good student. 汤姆是个好学生。
② 表示感官的动词: hear, see, taste, sound,notice, smell,seem等。
eg: The food smells good.这食物闻起来不错。
③ 表示感情、希望的动词:like, love, hate, prefer,need,want,wish,hope等。
eg: I want a bag and a pencilbox.我想要一个书包和一个文具盒。
④ 表示占有、从属、构成等关系的动词:have, own,contain(包含),possess(占有)等。
eg: I have two brothers and a sister. 我有两个哥哥和一个姐姐。
2.当have构成“开会,吃饭,玩得高兴”等意思时可以用于进行时。
eg: They are having a good time. 他们玩得很高兴。
⑤ 表示思想、理解的动词:understand, doubt,imagine, know, recognize, believe,remember, forget, think等。
eg: I know what he is doing. 我知道他在做什么。
I forget what he said.我忘记他说的是什么了。
一般现在时与现在进行时的区别
(二)how询问天气及表达问候
weather...like...s the weather...?”,还可以用句型“What’s the weather like...?”替换。
回答上述问题常用:It‘s +表示天气的形容词/天气类动词的ing形式。此类形容词有:rainy,cloudy,windy,snowy,sunny,foggy, warm,cool, cold等。此类动词有:rain,snow等。
朋友见面打招呼或者寒暄时,常常用到“How is it going?”,意为“一切可好/近来怎样?”此类表达还有:
How are things with you?
How are you doing?
How is everything?
How are you getting on?
bad./Terribleeat!/Pretty good!/Not bad./Terrible!等。
