Step 1: Lead in
Put up your hands and tell your classmates what you can do with the help of the following pictures.

1.T: Now, Please open your books and turn to page 2 and look at activity 2a.
Listen to these two conversations and circle the clubs you hear.
2. Listen again. Complete the sentences.
a. Listen to the recording for the first time.
b. Complete the sentences while you listen to them for the second time.

T:Look at 2b and talk about what the people can do and the clubs they want to join.

(Have Ss form pairs and practice the conversations in the picture. Walk around the classroom to monitor their work. Have Ss ask names using the conversations as a model. Have Ss mingle and practice the conversations. Choose some teams to role-play their conversations for the class.)

about...at about... ?意为“……怎么样?”一般用于陈述自己的情况或回答别人的问题之后,反问对方同样的问题。
about...?about...?是交际用语中常见的句型,还可用来询问消息、征求意见。What about...? 相当于How about...?表示“……怎么样?”其中about 是介词,后接名词、代词或动词的- ing 形式。
(2).be good at... 擅长于……
be good at sth. 在某方面擅长;
be good at doing sth. 擅长做某事
辨析be good at, be good for, be good to与be good with
(3).Sounds good.听起来不错。
