Step 1: Warm-up Look at the pictures and say the sentences like this: We mustn’t spit on the ground. Don’t spit on the ground. No spitting on the ground. Step 2: Presentation 1.First let’s watch the video. After it you should say something about the rules that you remember. 2.Next look at the pictures and read the phrases. Learn the new words and sentences. (根据小组制定的社会行为规范来学习新的单词和句型) must情态动词,表示应该, 否定形式为 mustn’t wait 等待 wait for sb. wait for sth. Look out. 小心,当心。 You must wait. help (帮助) old people You must help old people. take good care of (照顾) young children You must take good care of young children. keep off (不接近) the grass You must keep off the grass. play on the street You mustn’t play on the street. spit on the ground You mustn’t spit on the ground. litter You mustn’t litter. (Put the pictures on the blackboard. And then read them.) 小结:All of us must obey the rules because it’s very dangerous and not polite. 3.Know the other sign about the rules No swimming, No smoking, You can walk here. You can park here. No parking, … Step 3 Practice: 1.Group work: Every group prepare the social rules. The others guess what rules they are. If your group is right. You will get a score. At last which group get the most score. You can choose the picture about the public places first. (彩色纸) 2. Let’s make and talk. Let the students make a list of the rules for these public places. Ss: In the library (hospital, park, cinema, restaurant), we must … We mustn’t…(小组汇报) 3. Practice 1) Say the chant. Have a completion: Divide the class into two groups. Each one write a rule on the paper.
