1. 帮助学生学习Look and learn中几个关于玩具的单词。

2. 开展各种游戏活动，帮助学生掌握单词。

1. 词汇：ball, kite, robot, toy bear

四、教学过程(Teaching process)

Pre-task preparations

1. 播放Listen and enjoy的录音，让学生感受儿歌，为接下来的学习渲染气氛。

2. 把一些玩具飞机、玩具汽车、玩具自行车等放在讲桌里，取出其中的一样用一个深色的袋子包起来，让学生猜一猜袋子里是什么。通过游戏来引出本单元的话题Toys。

T: (put a toy car in a bag and show the bag to the class) What’s this?

S1: It’s a Ship.

T: No.

S2: It’s a car.

T: Yes. (take out the toy car) What colour is it?

S3: It’s red.

T: (put the toy car on the desk) Good, (put another toy in the bag) Guess, what’s in the bag now?

S4: It’s a...

T: Look, this is a toy car. This is a toy bike. This is a toy plane. They are toys. Do you like toys?

Ss: Yes.

While-task procedures

1. 逐一出示Look and learn栏目中的单词图片，学生在理解意思的基础上仔细听其发音后进行模仿，并对所学单词进行拼读。模仿和拼读活动可以是集体的，也可以是个别的。

T: (show the flashcard for toy bear) Look, this is a toy bear. Toy bear.

Ss; Toy bear.

T: (show the flashcard for ball) Is this a toy bear?

S1: No, it isn’t.

T; What’s this?

S1: It’s a ball.

T: Can you spell the word?

S1: Yes. Ball, B-A-L-L, ball.

Ss. Ball, B-A-L-L, ball.

2. 将所有单词图片打乱后，抽出其中一张，将其背面对着学生，让学生猜一猜，当学生猜对以后，教师将图片张贴在黑板上让学生进行拼读，以巩固所学单词。第一次示范的时候，可以是教师和学生互动，第二次以后，可以邀请同学上来做小老师，进行生生互动活动。

T: (show the back of the flashcard for ball) Guess. What is it?

S1: Is it a doll?

T: No, it isn’t.

S2: Is it a toy bear?

T: No, it isn’t.

S3: Is it a ball?

T: (show the flashcard) Yes, it’s a ball.

3. 让学生在一张白纸上画一画自己喜欢的玩具，并用彩笔涂上颜色。然后，邀请一个学生拿着自己的画上来，让同学们猜一猜他喜欢的玩具是什么，用已学的句型来巩固新学的单词。

S1: (show the back of the picture to the class or hide the picture behind his/her back) What is it?

S2: Is it a ball?

S1: No, it isn’t.

S3: Is it a doll?

S1: No, it isn’t.

S4: Is it a toy bear?

S1: Yes, it’s a toy bear.

S4: What colour is it?

S1: (show the picture to the class) It’s brown.

4. 在上面活动的示范下，教师让学生离开座位，与同学之间互相猜一猜自己画的玩具，使每个学生都有机会通过游戏活动来巩固所学的新词汇。

S1: What is it?

S2: Is it a...?

S1: No. it isn’t.

S2: Is it a...?

S1: No, it isn’t.

S2: Yes, it’s a...

Post-task activities

1. 把挂图或玩具图片贴在黑板上，选取其中一张玩具图片，用所学的语言进行简单介绍。在教师示范的基础上，让个别学生对黑板上的另外几张玩具图片进行个别介绍。

S1: Look, this is a ball. It’s big. It’s round. It’s blue and white. It’s nice.

2. 让学生拿着自己画的玩具图开展小组活动，把自己画的玩具介绍给自己的小组成员。

S1: Look, this is my toy. It’s a robot. It’s big. It’s red. Its face is big. Its eyes are big. Its arms are long. Its legs are long too.

S2: This is my toy. It’s a kite. It's brown and yellow. It’s beautiful. I like my kite.

鼓励学生询问其他小组成员是否喜欢自己画的玩具。告诉学生他们可以互相交换作品。

S1: Do you like my doll?

S2: Yes, I do.
